Gables of Notting Hill

I started living here in the summer of 2014 soon after management was switched over into the hands of Maria Chapparro and still currently live here. I am very pleased with the changes that have been made thanks to Maria and office staff. I have never once had any bug problems and if I felt like i needed to have my house sprayed I could request them to come and they do so on Thursdays. Anytime anything needed to be fixed maintenance was Swift to get it taken care of, the grounds used to have problems with the dumpster overflowing and now that has been no problem, and everytime that I have to deal with the office staff they've always been friendly and willing to help in any way they can. My overall experience has been one of the best that I have ever had living in an apartment home and I definitely would recommend to anyone to rent with The Gables!

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! This is an absolute terrible place to live. You cannot control your ac or heat and in Texas you have days of 80 in the "winter"!!!!! Unfortunately in TX they only have to have ac April - Nov and they take full advantage of that!!! They are soooo rude and think everyone lives here in a piece of trash and treats them as such! Maybe people just don't have a lot of money to pay for an ELITE place. Sure we thought this place would be decent enough when we have 1 child and another on the way but NOPE!!! Other parents let their kids run around wild no matter what time it is, skateboarding and yelling not to mention throwing rocks which broke one of our downstairs windows! This is just an aweful place and i hope it will eventually get shut down or someone will actually take over that gives a damn about people who live here!!!!!!!

I applied here and had to give them a $45 app fee and a $200 deposit. I was told I would get my $200 deposit back if I didn't get approved. Well I didn't get approved and after 3 1/2 weeks later they sent me a check for $125? And are giving me the run around! Stay away from here the people running the place are very bad!!!

horrible and disorganized staffing..manager is unfriendly...air blew out at least 5 times during the summer..they say central air and heat is regulated by the city...that's a lie...don't move Here..not worth the money when theirs places around there you can rent for half the price

Since I have been here, the community has changed a great deal for the better. Everyone seems much happier with the change in management and with the apartments in general. The whole place looks cleaner, people seem more respectful and it over all feels more peaceful. They are working on redoing the fences and outsides of the buildings including the parking lots and I think it gives new life to the apartments. I am impressed with these changes, not to mention the new gym membership. I love that they have free daycare! That may be my favorite feature.

This is the second apartment that I've lived in. The first apartments were in Ft. Worth and they were a nightmare! I have been living here for a couple of years now and there have been many changes. The newest change was the name and the managers. I actually am very happy with them. We just got new signs and they are fixing our problems in the apartment. I am very impressed with the great job they are doing!

When i moved here last year, I had to ask several times for the manager to fix things. It was a terrible experience, but now that the new company took over, I actually got a call from one of the ladies to make sure my problem was fixed. I was shocked to hear from them since the previous manager didn't seem to care about my issues at all! I have had a good experience here in the past couple of months. I think that the new company is really trying to do their part in fixing these apartments up. I have seen them working on painting and fixing fences. They have said that they plan on fixing up our apartments and I really believe they intend to do this. I appreciate the security that comes around at night. It makes me feel safe. I plan on renewing my lease for another year and I am looking forward to the changes the new company is making.

Theses APARTMENTS are a joke! Ever since the new management took over this place should be called the Gables of Hell! Your better off living in a cardboard box than here. Plus certain residents BROWN NOSE the ppl in the office so what they say goes. I have 2 neighbors here that have made the last 6months a living hell for me and others! I moved in 6 months ago! never been late on rent, never got a complaint or violation! Now i have to move out bc Thing 1 and Thing 2 don't want me there?
