These guys are awesome, i called them literally 2 days before the move and they gave me an afternoon spot for a huge move out of a 4 bedroom house.

They were on time and worked as efficiently as possible, would definitely use them again anyday.

I recently moved with this company and had a great experience. The movers worked quickly and made sure all my belongings made it safely to my new home. What could have been a stressful couple of days was made very easy.

I've used guys from Moving on Up on two occasions and the last time when I moved I had called them two days before my move and they offered to squeeze me in with a ton of my stuff into the new apartment on that rainy day. The two guys who showed up were friendly, and great at negotiating. This company did not charge me for the time it took them to get their truck situated to our place and were easy to talk with. After the job was done the amount due was less than the initial quote and since they completed it before time the amount reduced a little lower than the initial estimate for which I had to face a little inconvenience of going to my bank and ordering a separate cheque for them otherwise their service was not bad at all. I would use them again and suggest them to everyone.

We were recommended Moving On Up by my in laws who live in the same city. We are a family of four with two small children. In the past few years, I developed an illness such that I was unable to pack/unpack during our recent move in the city. It was hard to move the house with two small kids and having so little control over the process. Thankfully, we chose Moving On Up . They were great!! I'll never pack/unpack again -- even if I fully recover from this illness. I felt comfortable having them handle all the items at home. That's a lot to ask. There was no breakage and they kept up a positive attitude all day long . They answered all our questions easily and clearly. I would highly recommend Moving On Up for all those who are looking forward to move.

We used Moving on Up to move us into a condo 5 years ago and move us into a house this year. Both times we were very pleased - these guys worked efficiently and were careful with our contents. We also referred them to other friends who were similarly satisfied.

This is one of the best moving companies of the time. They are able to handle all kind of moves and they charge very reasonable. This company has the most efficient movers who can take on any kind of odds. I have to say that they know exactly what to do to satisfy their clients. I also liked their innovative ideas, which was pretty good.

Moving an office is always difficult, especially if there is a tight budget and little time to offer. Same thing happened with me last week. I had to move my office and I had very little time and a tight budget for the move. Fortunately Moving On Up showed the courage to accept my challenge but I had enough doubts about the move. I must admit that the movers were magicians because they pulled out an absolute stunner. I still wonder how they managed to provide me a picture perfect move under such tight budget and time constrains! I am very impressed and I obviously recommend them.

Few days ago when I was looking to hire a good, reliable and affordable moving company my friend suggested me to hire them. According to him they are best movers in town. As I result I used them and now I also admit that they are the best in business. Movers arrived on time with nice moving van, necessary tools and packing materials. They did not waste a single minute and began the work. They were focused, committed, fast, efficient, innovative and very friendly. They packed, moved and stored all my belongings with great care and efficiency. I was not given a little chance to complain. That is what I call “WORLD CLASS PERFORMANCE!” I am more than happy and I strongly recommend them.

Last week I was facing a big problem. Due to reasons I had to move my office at a new location and I had very little time for that. To add a bit of extra pressure, budget was a very big concern. So, I called several movers but none were interested with my terms and conditions. Just when it was looking like I won’t find any company that moment Moving On Up came to the rescue. They had the courage to take the challenge and they won. I do not know how they were able to manage such a move under such tight budget and time constraints but they did! I have actually no words to thank them. All I can say is they are the best.

I called Moving On Up on the recommendation of a very close friend who had already booked them quiet a while back. I was nervous about using a service as I hadn't tried before, but on the moving day they proved to be good and well informed about their job! I had to move from an apartment to a house and in setting up the move, the company was very quick to call me or e-mail me back to answer my questions, and explain how I could get parking permits, and provide other important information. My only concern was that due to some reason they did not accept payment thru card on that day and I had to arrange for a cashier’s cheque from my bank which caused some inconvenience otherwise their service was not bad.

Moving on Up is such a fun move company to make your moving needs come as a piece of cake walk ! For reals, I couldn't have dreamed of a more seamless moving experience. One of our fellow colleagues suggested that I contact Moving On Up which I readily did and after reading some net reviews I came to the conclusion that he was right. They estimated my 2 BR apt. to take 3 hours to load, drive to the new apt, and unload. In the end, it only ended up taking 3 hours and everything made it in one piece! I have big, heavy furniture and they still managed to get in and out of it in a flash. The whole thing ended up costing less than $400 and saved me of big headache at the end of the day. Moving on up is a little pricey, but DAMN are they good! i was almost hoping they'd be 20 minutes late since they were scheduled to be at my house at 8am, but at 8:02am, my doorbell rang. no such luck, these guys are punctual!...and FAST! they loaded up my apartment, drove over to the bf's and loaded up his apartment, and then unloaded everything at our new home all in under five hours.



yes, they were fast, friendly, and successful in helping me begin my life of living in sin. Moving On Up has it all.

I called Moving on up and based on the reviews, am glad I did! I moved almost an entire 1BR and did almost all the packing myself, which saved heaps of time I'm sure. Still, they moved ALL that stuff and in the end the whole move was only 2-1/2 hours! It might've been even faster but they were forced to take their time with it, due to the fact that they had to leave one man guarding the truck while the other two brought things up to the new apartment one batch at a time. I very much agreed with this idea of not leaving my belongings unattended at any point at this location... BUT IT STILL only took 2-1/2 hours! . We recently moved from Hollywood to Tampa and WOW we had such a comforting experience with Moving on up. They were on-time, efficient and we had no surprises when the bill showed up. In fact, we ended up paying less money than the original quote because they were fast!!!!



Also, Bob was great to us!!! He responded to all of our questions upfront about all the charges. He provided with a great customer service and his calm voice and attitude assured us that we are trusting the right people for our belongings..



Seriously, they are WONDERFUL!!!!

From the first phone call (3 wks before the date) right up to the morning of the move, the team from Moving On Up was very friendly and extremely professional. 3 guys showed up right on time before the morning of my move and ready to get started. One of the guys went through the paperwork with me very thoroughly to make sure I knew exactly how much the whole process would cost and what i was paying for. I like that -- step by step details really helped to put me at ease. The guys were quick, grabbing boxes and wrapping dressers to make sure the drawers didn't slide out and wrapping up my bed. Attention to detail and care with my belongings definitely won them points.

I do not advise anyone to use the services of Moving On Up. They are unprofessional, the owner is rude, and if they show up late, do a poor job, they do not refund ANY of your money. This company had a great BBB rating -- which is one reason to pick them -- however this is falling and I understand why now.



Be careful-- even though their contract states that they will take credit cards they will demand cash. They were 2 hours late for my move and asked for cash. The mover stated that this was because they were already late and the owner was afraid I would dispute some part of the charge if it were credit. I paid half in cash because that's all I had and the rest in credit. The owner was nasty about this and unhelpful on the phone. After an hour of wasted time talking with the owner the movers loaded my stuff onto the truck but the battery was dead. I charged their battery with my car for an extra 2 hours -- when we finally got to my new house it was dark. Because of this the movers did not even bring my stuff into the new house (they loaded it into the garage) instead. They did this because the contract gave them 4 hours for my move -- but with the breakdown we had passed the 4 hours. I ended up paying $800 to this co for a poor job--hopefully you will not do the same.

In sum, this company is unprofessional (owner), late, unwilling to renegotiate the terms of the move (number of hours, cost) even when it's their fault (truck broke down).

I consider myself the foremost expert on moving, since I've re-located about once a year for the past 10 years.



Moving On Up is hands down the best moving company I have ever used! I used them for my move from my apartment to a few blocks away and believe me they came out to be like real professional service providers and they were not only speedy, dependable and efficient, but nice, honest, and most importantly, all my stuff showed up in great condition. Moving On Up rocks!

These guys are simply fantastic! Hard-working, cheerful, friendly, on time, and also very EFFICIENT. The elevator in my building broke (AGAIN) right before I was to move and these guys were still able to move me out of my studio in about 1 1/2 hours - no complaints, smiles, jokes. They made the entire process a cake walk

I highly recommend them. Best moving experience I've had, hands down.
