I am not sure about these other people, but I have been seeing Dr. Spillane for about 4 years now. I would say that he is very compassionate, caring doctor. for the past 14 or so years I have suffered with chronic low back pain. when I first started seeing Dr. Spillane I was on a cane, slept about 3 - 4 hours a night. He has tried several procedures on me and has just recently put a spinal cord stimulator in, it has done miracles. I have lost the cane, cut my pain meds in half and sleep all night most nights. As for under medicating, if anything I had to keep them from giving me too much, they always asked about upping my meds or trying something stronger. If you are in pain, give them a try, maybe they can help you as much as they have me.

Dr.Spillane is the worst doctor I have ever been to.He is very rude know bedside manners,treated me like I was a drug addict and also did not give me enough pain meds to control my painand I would tell him how bad I was hurting but he still would not increase my dosage.I lived in bad pain unable to sleep or move my head due to the pain being so bad so I went to another pain doctor and he was like-I can not believe he had me on such a low dose of meds.My husband got so mad that I had to keep him away from this doctors office so I went to another doctor and know my pain is controled and have a much better life.I only stay with Spillane for 4 months,got tired of being miss treated by him and he did not control my severe pain,he would say that alot of it was just in my mind and said I should see a Psychiatrist and be put on anti depressents,I could not believe what I was hearing that when my husband said your going to another pain doctor and so glad I did and now my pain is controled and my life is so much better and I did not have to take his verbal abuse anymore and being told that I had bad depression and that was my main problem and not my pain as he said I could not be hurting that bad,it was a very bad experience I have ever had with any doctor in my life and so glad I left and went to a much better pain doctor so take my advise and never go to this doctor Spillane.

This so called pain doc-Spillane should not be allowed to treat anybody.My first visit you take a drug test and I passed,well this doctor got very aggersive with me and acussed me of being a cocain user and being bi-polar in the hallway,he cut my pain meds 2/3 rds of what my surgeon had me own,he's very rude and does not like for a patient to speak out,I have never been treated this bad by anyone in my life,he wished and thinks he will not control your pain one bit.I tried to go to another pain doctor and got turned down,so I got my record & know why the pain doc turned me down.This man is a Obsessive-Complulsive Narcissist split persomality and if you ask to have your meds changed he would have a fit and was verbaly abussive and took a year of my life away due to being in such bad pain.This so called doc is rude abussive know compassion and thinks everybody is a drugie,I took my father in office visit a few times and my father said this man has a problem-he thinks all or drug heads,there pain is in there head and not real,my back just went down hill while he was treating me,he's a office bully knowing you need help and he got off the power and would not believe you for anything,he thinks all lie,drug seekers or drug heads.I finaly went off on him in his office and put him in his place.I contacted my surgeon and he got me in with another pain doctor-I had cat sans an MRI because I was inserious bad pain unable to do anything and I went back to my surgeon and said that this man was not managing my pain and said he would never send a patient to him as I am in great terms with my surgeon and he's knows me well,if you want to be treat very badly andlive in bad pain Spillane is the man for that.Please listen to me-don't ever go to this so called doctor,he is a nut case,verbaly abussive bully and will treat you like your out to just get drugs,this man should not be allowed to to treat anyone at all.It felt so good telling this nut case off and now I'm on a higher dose of pain meds I'm able to do rehab and even lift weights,go walking,I'm so glad I have the best spine surgeon in the country who helped me get to another pain doctor and now I have my life back.If you get to this office before the doctors are ready to see you they don't let you go to the floor where your doctor is to use the bathroom-I have had to pee out side at a small building in the parking lot.DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!

Dr. Spillane is a Narcissist power freak-he gets made if you give any in put,does not care of what you have to say,one visit he may be a little nicer than anothe visit he gets all out of wack.He will acuse you of things on first visit evening after the drug test.He acts like a little school girl if a drug gives you real bad side effects,it's unbelievable that a professional would act so child like,no bed side manners at all and by all means never give him any in put or he has a fit.You will get stressed every visit due to him getting bent out of shape,no compassion at all-he think that the first time he give you a prescrition that will be right for life and if you tell him of bad side effects or it's not working he gets angery and bent out of shape.He's a bully because he know he can due to being a doctor and knowing you need help and he hold the power.I have never seen a doctor who acts so badly to a patient and hates for any in put about your treatment.I think he thinks everybody is a junkie looking for drugs.Do not go to this doctor or you will regret it very badly and will not have your pain managed properly.I think this man has some issues in his life and takes it out on patients.I say again don't go to this man.

This is no doctor,you will get treated very badly and acussed of things-the worst so called doctor i have ever been to.Know bed side manner,he does not like for you to speak what you feel or think,very hatefull so called man.He will under medicate you and is a bully and a Narcissisted man who is big feeling,he has know compassion for people,he cares for the money he makes and not the care of the patient.I would strongly advise to never go to him unless you like to be treated badly.He has had complaints filed with the America Medical Association-that is a fact.The most arrogant so called doctor I have ever met,it's like he has the power over you and love's the power with his ability to write a precription for a patient and just loves that power,you will be treated with disrespect and be acussed of things on the frist visit.Never go to this so called doctor-you will regret it if you do as I have.I have never been treated so badly and acussed of thing while in the hall way in the office.One self feeling cocky man who only cares about money and not the proper care for the patient.Stay away from this so called doctor at all cost.Women be aware of this man,he really loves the women.
