Brittany Bay Townhomes

These apartments have very old (and inefficient) appliances. The heat source downstairs is an OLD baseboard heater and mine only works about half. I froze last winter and still had outrageous electric bills. Apparently, these places aren't insulated well. When I moved in I couldn't believe that the kitchen wasn't really clean! The other review is right about management constantly changing too. I haven't been here a year yet and we're on the 3rd property manager. Since I haven't been here a year, I haven't had to deal with the rent increase. However, they don't have water meters for each apartment so they make you pay $20/mo for a 1 bedroom and more than that for the 2 bedroom apartments. And that is increased as your lease expires if you want to stay here too. Moving is a pain and is expensive...I can't really afford to move but I can't afford to stay either. I really want a patio as well so I will probably move when my lease is up. Oh, and the bedroom window has moisture between the panes so it is cloudy on half of the big window and you can't see out that well. They don't enforce the rules fairly or equally either.

The only reason why I'm giving them one star is because I can't leave it blank, this place is terrible,the management is constantly changing, they don't take responsibility for anything ( even when your pipes freeze and bust they blame the residents ) the apartments are old and tired, they raise your rent significantly after a year so don't think you're getting a good deal on rent. I'm glad I'm getting out of here at the end of the month!
