For the past four years, I have been getting my taxes prepared by Tina at this company. I have also referred at least nine people who have been going to them for the past three years. Well, this year I received a letter from the IRS saying that I owed almost $2,000 for an "under-reported issue" from 2008. I promptly looked into my file to double check myself and called Tina, since I saw that I turned in all of my forms to her. She checked behind herself and said "oops, there was a gliche with the software and it didn't bring the total from the back pages to the front." That cannot be the truth, because the maker of that software would surely cover things like that... and if it was the truth, then a lot of other people's taxes are messed up as well. How many other years are going to be messed up??? Anyway, I had to pay the taxes out of pocket AND Tina even refused to cover the interest fees that the IRS charged me, citing "we only cover if there is a penalty. We don't cover interest." DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS COMPANY, UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR TAXES DONE INCORRECTLY!! This has been a huge headache that could have been avoided if they weren't in such a hurry to throw the numbers on the paper...
