Skyline Primary Care

I am so pleased to have found this office and Dr. Settle as my physician. She is the best of the best in my opinion and other family members.
The office staff is always courteous and professional. I couldn't be more pleased.

Very poor representative for the TriStar Skyline name, based on past experiences with other associated physicians and Skyline hospital. Definitely not a practice that I should have relied on. Thought the doctor actually listened and communicated with his patients better than some physicians who appear to be exiting the door before they get totally in the exam room. Little signs like notes from staff on records saying results were discussed when you were not contacted, should have been an earlier red flag, but I took them as minor mistakes to be discussed at the next visit. Still, actions speak the loudest above all, especially if you need urgent medical care outside office hours. Forget receiving additional or follow on care anytime soon afterward, even if another physician contacted this doctor.
Top it all off with a most unusual reprisal from a medical practice in the form of certified mail with inaccurate assumptions and notice of cancellation of future appointments you were unable to get, because he is dropping you as a patient. It definitely is a new way of practicing medicine, isn't it?

I called to set up a yearly physical with Dr. Spisak. I hadn't been for a couple years and I was turning 50 so I called the scheduling department and told them I need to set up a physical I had never been to Dr. Spisak so I figured I would give him a try. When I got there they drew blood and dr. Spisak told me that I had hit the big 50 and it was time for a colonoscopy so they scheduled me one and that was it. When I left I was thinking that was the worst Physical I had ever received. I later received a bill from Dr Spisaks office so I called them to tell then that my insurance company doesn't have a co-pay for a physical. The VERY rude Lady in the billing office told me that I didn't get a physical and said it was a check up for meds I told her that when I called I set up a physical. She told me that that's not what was wrote down and that there was nothing I could do except pay it.. I told her I wasn't paying for their mistake and she told me they would just turn it over to collections. I couldn't believe the customer service that I was receiving from this rude girl so I asked for her manager and after waiting for 10 minutes she came back and said the doctor would review it and decide if I would have to pay it. After a couple weeks I hadn't heard from them but I received a certified letter in the mail from them saying they were ending their relationship with me lol VERY CHILDISH. I was fine with it and just figured I would find another doctor for my physical I thought it was over but when I got home tonight I had another 45.00 bill from them in the mail. I'm shocked that a doctor's office is acting like this. I'm calling them back tomorrow and then contacting my insurance company. Just beware of this childish office.
