My favorite place for tacos

I have eaten here twice in the last 3 days and am considering eating there again today. They're right next door to Xochi's, and on Sunday I went down to Mexicantown to eat. I love Anthony Bourdain and was looking for a taqueria-and found it. The interior looks like a diner, they don't take credit cards, and they don't serve alcohol. There's an hispanic music jukebox for atmosphere. It was busy but not full. All the menu items are pictured on the wall, so you can see what you're getting. I ordered 6 tacos-beef tongue, beef head, pork, egg and sausage, and beef. I enjoyed every one of them, but it was too much to eat! My teenager got soup with shrimp and vegetables, and she loved it-it was 5.00, and a huge bowl of soup with at least 5 shrimp. They have a variety of soups, including menudo. They serve 4 kinds of salsa with every meal-pico de gallo, red salsa, a spicier one, and guacamole. They also serve limes with each meal, and chips. I had the ceviche on Tuesday-this is the only place I've found that serves a proper ceviche. This place is as authentic as it comes, and the pico is the best I've ever had, even in Mexico. It's easy to get to now that the bridge project is finished, and I won't be going anywhere else in Mexican town. I really, really love the service, excellent food, and authenticity, not to mention the prices. Discover it-it's really that good!
