Los Galanes

Love coming here with my family. Very friendly and great service.

We had team members for work in from out of town. Brought them here for dinner. Everyone had a great time. Atmosphere was nice, food was great, wait staff was prompt and courteous (took team photos for us!). We would definitely go back again.

Been going to Xochimilco's for years and not once ever had a problem, and the service is unbeleivably fast, even when they're slammed! Thought we'd try something different, HUGE MISTAKE!

Funny to read other reviews that speak of the owner and manager at the front counter, absolutely NO PEOPLE SKILLS WHAT SO EVER! Our service was terrible from the beginning when we waited 15minutes just to get our drinks (which by the way were terrible margarita's), then 3 out of 4 meals were wrong, waited even longer for them to be replaced with wrong meals again! Nothing like eating dinner while your kids sit there and watch you eat! They were kind enough to remove one meal ( the cheapest one!). When we got to the front counter to pay our bill my wife contiued to express her dissatisfaction, and the manager slammed our credit card on the counter and said "fine, leave" at which time I jumped into the mix with the manager and the owner, told the owner we would never come back but rather go to Xochi's across the street and his was ressponse was "fine go"!

Nice way to treat your customers!

los galanes is not real authentic mexican food want real food go to a TAQUERIA los galanes treats the staff terrible paying less than minimum wadge talks to them rudely and humiliates them behind closed doors especially the kitchen staff which are the ones preparing Your food the oweners of this place are greedy rude n careless individuals

Los Galanes has the best Mexican food in Detroit !

The servers are friendly and helpful, and the buffet has absolutely delicious choices - try the posole !!- with good variety and a homemade taste to the food , like the cook really cares.

A plus is going at a time when the flour tortillas can be bought by the bag ! They're great.
