        My daughter was born with seve...

        My daughter was born with severe eczema from head to toe that was dismissed by most doctors as baby acne. Thankfully, I took her to see Dr. Kristin Carel at National Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Carel greeted us with not only care and kindness, but also an assurance that she would be able to help my baby girl. After conducting a thorough exam and skin testing, it was determined that my daughter had severe food allergies to dairy, soy, gluten, eggs, and nuts. Dr. Carel equipped us with the education and information to treat my daughter's skin and also how to avoid allergic reactions. My daughter's skin cleared and I felt comforted knowing that Dr. Carel and the entire staff at National Jewish would be there to support my family.



        That was nearly four years ago. Since then my daughter's skin has cleared completely with no signs of the original eczema. We continue to see Dr. Carel to maintain my daughter's health and well being. Dr. Carel has become more than our doctor, she has become a friend. I highly recommend her to any family that has children struggling with eczema, allergies, or asthma. I gave Dr. Carel five stars because I couldn't give her six.
