When I came to pick up my car,...

When I came to pick up my car, I thought I was looking at a completely different car! They even had the seats taken out and shampooed. It went from being a car I didn't think I could sell to a car that will have no problem selling. I can't thank them enough for their attention to detail and pride for a job well done!

Worst service ever. This place...

Worst service ever. This place is extremely unorganized and the people who work there are totally incompetent!! I had my car serviced there shortly after I purchased it from another dealer. There was a problem with the ignition and they ended up replacing the entire thing. The first issue I had with Mike Shaw was that the replaced my ignition and gave me 2 new keys so I am now unable to unlock my car door with my keys. When i called about this problem they acted like it was my fault and then told me they would call me back to arrange a time to get it fixed but never did. The second issue had to do with billing. Since I had just purchased the car the dealer I bought the car from was going to cover the cost of fixing the problems with the ignition. The dealer gave all of his necessary information to have the invoice sent to him so they could take care of the expense. Nearly 2 months later they called me and said that the invoice hadn't been paid nor did they have ANY of the information in their system for dealer who was supposed to pay, they had never sent him an invoice. I told Mike Shaw that I would call and get the necessary information and call them back with it. I called the next day and they apparently "couldn't find me in the system." Which turned in to a whole other ordeal. They said that it had to be settled or they would have to call collections... but at the same time they were saying that they were unable to find me anywhere in their system so I could relay the information for the dealer I bought the car from to them. Apparently they had my name completely wrong in the system. This has been such a nightmare!! Do not take your car to be serviced here. If I could give them a negative rating I absolutely would.

Mike Shaw Chevrolet-Saab let ...

Mike Shaw Chevrolet-Saab let me drive a 2007 Honda Element off the lot on 4/27/2011 without being approved for a loan nor did they tell me they were doing this. 4 weeks later I got a call was told I would have to turn the car in. The sales associate said come in and look to see if I liked another car they had in stock and if not I would get my money back. I did not like anything they had so I asked for my money back and all I got were check that were being held for the rest of the down payment. I asked about the $500 cash and the sales man told he was keeping it for me driving his car and he is a manager so he could make this call on 5/27/2011. He got Irate with me and I walked away to deal with this later. I have tried to call the GM of the store on 5/31/11 but he is hard to get in touch with. After many calls not returned I to the store and finally got to talk with a manager. He said he will look in to this and give me a call. By the afternoon I got a call back he made accusation the were untrue and out outlandish. He said I drove the car for 3000 miles and drove it out of state. I put 1000 miles on the car. He then said he will see about what he was told and get back to me. I then received a call from Tobias stating he is keeping my money and there is no way to get it back. After a lengthy conversation he said he would check with Brian Shane (the sales rep) to see if he told me that I would get my money back. Three days later and after several calls made to Tobias he finally called me and told he would get a check cut in a couple of days. I would not do business at this dealership and it was the worst car buying experience I ever had and I worked at dealerships all my younger years.

If we could give negative or z...

If we could give negative or zero stars for Mike Shaw Saab service we would. these ratings are like apartment reviews & better than nothing but many positives are their own people trying to rebound from legit people writing negative experiences. Our Shaw Saab service is horrible. You are lined up like cattle in a narrow "service advisor" center and have to wait for an assigned "advisor" while 2 or more advisors sit talking to each other (about what they're having for lunch in our case.) when we got our turn, our advisor didn't even look at us when he honored us by speaking. we had to ask if he was talking to us. (put your ego in check Travis, and come out of your small little world.) We found out they were going through a service manager change, like that's a surprise, but the service they offer was no excuse. Think about it, you're there because the new car you bought is having problems. On top of that they treat you like a herd of cattle. You're lucky if you can get through to them for status. Then they're rude over the phone. Get it together Mike Shaw.

Service

Our service advisor Rifat went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable with all of the decisions we needed to make. In the end it made more sense to us to have the work completed as opposed to trading the car in.

Thanks for your help Rifat!

Great Experience!

We had contacted several other dealers and found Mike Shaw to be the best price, but it only got better. Even though they had the lowest price we were treated unbelievably well. Curtis treated us professionally from the beginning to the end. We are very happy with this transaction and we love the truck!

Poor service and follow through

We recently purchased a used vehicle from Mike Shaw Chevrolet and Saab. Within one week the vehicle needed over $800 dollars in repairs. Before we purchased the vehicle the air conditioning was not working and the dealership agreed to fix it before the purchase. They did replace the belt, however now we have a squeeling belt whenever the AC is on. In addition, I was assured that the car had a recent oil change, however when I took it to my auto repair shop they stated that the oil had not been changed in a long time and the filter was completely black. So much for the used car check that Mike Shaw Chevrolet promised us they did on all used vehicles! When we let the dealership know of all our problems they were unwilling to assist at all. Oh yeah, and they wouldn't even give us a full tank of gas for doing business with them! We are very disappointed in our service and advice others to be cautious before purchasing a used vehicle from Mike Shaw Chevrolet and Saab.

Just bought a car!

I just recently purchased a "new" car for myself from Mike Shaw Chevrolet Saab. It was exciting for me to upgrade; but I knew it wasn't going to be their biggest hit of the day. I purchased a 2002 Saab 9-3. I was so excited, and they were great. They treated me so respectfully, and worked hard to get the car for me at a great price. They successfully ensured that I had a good purchasing experience. I'm already looking forward to when I can upgrade again through them!

amazing people, service and cars

I just purchased a Saab 93 Aero from Chris and Robert @ Mike Shaw Chevrolet/Saab. I was able to drive as many vehicles as I wanted, ended up deciding between 5 different vehicles and never felt pressure at all to make a purchase. They were all extremely knowledgable and I feel really great about my recent purchase. I suggest anyone who is looking for a Chevy or a Saab to visit Mike Shaw off Colorado Blvd.

Great New Car Buying Experience

I read about the 2010 Chevy Equinox on the internet and decided to check one out. Since I pass Mike Shaw Chevrolet everyday coming from work I chose them to do my investigation. On Saturday I made an appointment via email to stop by and see what the new Equinox was all about. I have been in the Denver area for a month and had an out of state registration on my 2007 Trailblazer. I was amazed by the Equinox test drive, as it is everything the experts say and what you read about the improvements GM have made. More than that was the no pressure approach by the sales staff. We went over the inventory they had and I decided on a LS model with AWD. The negotiations were very professional and not what usually is expected at a car dealership. We agreed on a price that was mutually acceptable to both parties and they offered a better credit deal than my Credit Union offered, based on my credit score. I felt that I was a regular customer for many years rather than someone from out of state that had just walked in. Everyone I passed greeted me and the Salesman, New Car Manager and General Manager all were genuine in their conversations with me. I spent time with the Business Manager filling out the paperwork and by coincidence we both had lived in the same area prior to moving to Colorado. The out of state registration and insurance posed no problems. I heartily recommend the Mike Shaw Chevrolet and Saab dealership because they actually cared about me as a customer and my needs rather than a way to sell a very popular model to the guy who just walked in for a look.

Overall
Poor service!

I have had multiple bad experiences with this place. I know it is my fault for going back there. The quality of their work is horrible, their staff is rude, and they are extremely overpriced. This is one of those places you always hear about that will overcharge you to fix something that was not even broke to begin with. If you go in with a problem there is a 75% chance the problem will still be there when you leave and most likely you will have a new problem. Expect to pay well over $100 per hour for labor and they will tack on $50 - $100 fees for "shop rags" and "cleaner" too. If you have a $20 part replacement, expect to pay $700 for them to fix it. If you have warranty work, they do not have the expertise to diagnose complex issues and they will just give you back your car without fixing anything.

These are all the experiences I have had with Mike Shaw service.

I would not recommend this place to my enemy.

Boooo

My elderly mother bought a new Saab from Shaw. At 3 (2008)years she was talked into buying the extended warranty. When she went to use the warranty she was told it did not exist. She paid over $2,000 for the warranty. She made numerous calls, visits. When I went to the dealership I was assured the contract was in place and a copy would be mailed along with a warranty ID card. Three months have gone by, more calls, nothing. She has since spent thousands to keep this car going in addtion to the warranty. Apparently, little old lady's would be wise to avoid Mike Shaw.
