Dental Examination
When you visit our office for the first time, we perform a very thorough exam which includes charting what existing dental work you have and also addressing any new areas of concern. This is also a time for you to meet Dr. Moeckel and our team. If possible we try to coordinate a cleaning with one of our exceptional hygienists during that first visit. Dr. Moeckel uses multiple forms of technology to evaluate your teeth for decay. We use digital x-rays, a special camera that scans for bacteria, and a laser scanner called a diagnodent that allows Dr. Moeckel to check for decay. Typically If there’s a need for any procedures, they’ll be done at a separate visit.
