If I could give this zero stars I would.When I first moved in here things were great but that didn't last long at all. Literally the only good thing about these apartments was that John is a great maintenance guy and he's really nice.LITERALLY the only good thing.But even that has its issues but only because of Jeannie. She's the manager there and she absolutely SUCKS at doing her job.. correction she DOESN'T do her job AT ALL. At first when I moved in I had a LOT of trouble with a bunch of stuff and she always immediately sent John out and he fixed it right there within the hour but after a week or so of me being moved in things started to go down hill. Every time I called Jeannie and asked her to send John over he would never show up and then she would come up with lies saying he was at other apartments all day when I had seen him driving around the property all day. Come to find out Jeannie was never giving John the work orders and I ended up having to call after hours and put in a work order with the answering service and John ALWAYS showed up the very next day.So, that's ONE way she doesn't do her job the other is she's NEVER ever in the office and when she is she absolutely will NOT answer the phone and if she does she's not that polite. She takes 3-4 hour sometimes longer "lunch" breaks. Most days she doesn't even show up to the office and she lives TWO blocks from the office!! She doesn't work on the weekends, if she does she won't answer the phone. Most of the time when she's "in the office" she's in the back smoking a freaking cigarette. She doesn't send the bug guy to spray.
My boyfriend moved in next door to me and when he moved out she charged him $1,058 and she tried to charge him more. She charged him THREE months of water AFTER he moved out and then tried to charge him TWO more months of rent when he wasn't even living there.I just moved, 12 days before my lease is up, and I had to leave my 30 days notice in the after hours drop box because she was just never in the office. She said that I had paperwork to fill out but how can I fill out paperwork when no one is there? I know so far I only owe $34 for water and sewer but I'm sure she's going to try and charge me just like she did my boyfriend.That's the other thing, water is NOT (!!!!!) included in rent. That's bs. She charges nearly $40 for water (which when it's literally just me there is ridiculous), and a $20 sewage fee (everything gets stopped up constantly), a $4 rent fee (what the heck is that?!), and a $3.50 road service fee. And she went up on my rent $15 without telling me so by the time I moved my rent was nearly $700. And for that size of apartment with all of the problems it has it's just not worth it. Now, I live in something twice as big with the rent $595 with water included. My grandmother became really sick a few months ago (I just found out she has cancer) and I had to drive back home a lot (8 hours!!!) and I was just going to move closer to home but Jeannie said (with an extreme attitude) that I couldn't have my money back that I paid in advanced with. She was not understanding about the situation at ALL. She was a complete b**ch about the entire situation. Thankfully, now my grandmother is better and I found somewhere cheaper but there is something better out there, trust me, do NOT move here. It will be the worst mistake of your life.All these people will do is rob you of your money. They could care less about the satisfaction of the place.Oh and also, the washer/dryer area is WAY more expensive than going to a laundry mat and half the time the coin things get stuck and you can't use them anyway. $1.75 for washer (per load) and $1.50 for dryer (per load) and the whole thing takes about 2 hours to do. And don't let her lie to you about the water. It is not two months late. That's just a way for her to keep your deposit when you move out. I was charged with a $55 (total) water the MONTH I moved in so the two months late water thing is bogus.
