Emergency Care
During her training and work as a psychiatric nurse, Mrs. Perry provided patient care in inpatient psychiatric and dual diagnosis units. She has worked with children and adolescents, and both civilian and active military duty adults. She has also provided comprehensive mental health assessments in emergency department settings.

Dr. Shahan is is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the North Carolina Psychiatric Association and the North Carolina Medical Society.

Dr. Musgrave was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and raised in the Charlotte area. Dr. Swaney has been a dedicated full-time psychiatrist since 2006. From then until 2017, he was a Staff Psychiatrist with the two major hospital systems in Charlotte, NC: Novant Health and Carolinas HealthCare (now Atrium Health). During these years, he gained a great deal of experience, both in the inpatient and outpatient settings. From 2017-2020, he served as the Director of the Youth Services inpatient unit at a Behavioral Health facility in Saint Simons Island, GA.
