I bought a Groupon which expired awhile ago. I recently went to use the amount I paid for (which never expires, only the deal you bought expires). I set up my appointment online, but never got a confirmation for the appointment. I had to call to make sure I actually had an appointment. I got there early, but the door was locked and the lights were off. When the owner got there she said she would not except my Groupon for a few confusing, nonsensical reasons. She was starting to get verbally aggressive once I said that if I couldn't use the credit then I wouldn't get a pedicure. I had to walk out because she wouldn't stop going on and on. The worst part: she texted me once I left and sent me a rude and snarky message. Long story short: I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SALON TO ANYONE! The owner is disrespectful and completely unprofessional. Even if you have credit/ an expired Groupon like me do not go here. It would be better to just waste the money, but save your time.

I had such a terrible experience with this establishment without even walking in the door. I had got a $30 mani/pedi deal from Amazon local and I had to call and get a refund instead of the services. I found it frustrating that you cannot call to make an appt or ask questions. You must do everything online or leave a message and wait for a response. (I left three messages prior to my appt with no reply.)

I made an appt online for a Saturday at 1:30pm and received an email at 9:42pm the night before my appt (Friday) saying my appt was rescheduled to 11:30am. There was no explanation as to why this was done and I clearly did not get the 24 hour courtesy most places require. I called the day of and left a message regarding my appt. A woman called and did not identify herself or the place in which she was calling from. She just started talking and was very rude. I finally said that I did not want to come in because I was already having a terrible experience and she simply said, with an attitude, "Well what do you wanna do?" At no point did she apologize and address my poor experience.

DO NOT GO HERE. The lady was so rude, she was unfriendly. I felt so unwelcome, she didn't even talk to me, I had to start some conversation to try to overcome the awkwardness. If you don't want to be there don't take it out on your customer.



Her utensils were not clean, her polish was crusted up and she put some polish remover in it to try to revive it while I was sitting there. I expect 'professional' nail salons to have new good quality polish. She hurt when she did my cuticles.



Then after she was done she charged me an extra $16 on top of the $24 for the groupon. She said it was for gel polish removal, and french. I understand sometimes places charge to remove your old gel, as well as usually for french but she was not upfront about it. Most professional people let you know that there will be an additional charge for it. So I paid $40 for horrible service and the worst part is, my nail is ALREADY chipped. One day later!!!! I called to see if she would fix it, but of course she dose't work Sundays or Mondays.



Please don't put yourself through something this horrible.

Wonderful manicure & pedicure! I am very glad that I purchased through Living Social. I am now a regular. I highly recommend Monique. Nice, quiet, cozy establishment.

I purchased 2 pedicure deals through AAA Member deals, one for myself and one as a gift for a friend. Approximately 3 weeks ago I scheduled appointments for for yesterday, Saturday April the 7th for myself and my friend online. I noted that I wanted myself and my friend to have the appointment together if possible, and if not back to back. My appointment was confirmed. In the week before my appointment I received a voice mail l from Monique, who appears to be the owner. She told me that appointments couldn't be together since she was the only person doing the manicures, but that she could do one at 2:00 and the other at 2:30. I assumed this settled the matter, she didn't give the impression that I need to call and confirm anything. A few days later I received another voice mail from Monique stating that there was issue with my appointment, and that I may need to reschedule because she couldn't do 2 appointments at once. I called back and left her a message that i assumed from her first voice mail that our appointments were at 2 and 2:30, and if this wasn't the case to please let me know if i needed to reschedule, and requested that she call me back and confirm that my appointment was set. I didn't receive a phone call or voicemail from her, and tried to call again to confirm, but always got her voice mail- I didn't leave any additional messages.

When my friend arrived yesterday for our appointments she was with another client. She told us to wait and she would come out and talk to us. After leaving us sitting and waiting for nearly 15 minutes, she came out and told us that we could only have one appointment because 2 pm was booked. She was unapologetic for our wasted time and inferred that the mixup was my fault and rescheduled our appointments for 2 weeks in the future. I am cancelling my appointment and have requested a refund from AAA. I have no desire to support a business that wastes it customers time and is unable to have the professionalism to return my calls or even apologize for the inconvenience.

Very disappointed. I bought the Living Social deal in order to try this place for the first time. I couldn't get in during the months of July or August. I finally called in to see if there were any openings that weren't listed on the computer. I was told that they were booked with all their usual clients. I just tried to get in during the month of November and they are once again completely booked. I feel like they offered the Living Social deal as a way for their company to make money. They get you to buy the deal and then they don't have any openings for you to actually cash in because they are already fully booked months in advance. Very disappointed.
