Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Had a stopped-up kitchen sink/disposal. When we tried to plunge it, water came out of the dishwasher all over the floor. It was a Saturday, and Roto-Rooter was able to come out that day and fix the problem. The Service Technician, Christian Pierce, was very friendly, explained what he was doing, and showed us the clog that he found. He cleaned up afterwards. He was out of official invoices so he came back the next day with an official invoice. Great service. This is the second time that I have called Roto-Rooter. Will continue to do so in the future.

I had scheduled an appt online for the next day from 5-7pm. By 7pm no call. At 755pm I received a voicemail to call them back asap. No apology or explanation. This would have been my 1st time using to to rooter. It is my last time. I would have given no stars but it would not let me. If you called earlier and told me why the delay i would have understood. But no call is not acceptable.

Our plumbing problems were resolved by Stan and Travis. Stan came on a Friday night, diagnosed our problem and scheduled ditch digging for first thing the next morning. Travis came to excavate and repair our tree-blocked pipes and add a clean-out. Both Stan and Travis were knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, thorough and diligent. Both communicated clearly what the problems were, how they would be addressed and kept us informed on the status of their work and importantly how they could be personally reached if we had any questions or concerns. We would not hesitate to call them in the future or recommend them.

Just purchased a new house and a problem with the upstairs toilet backing up into the master bathroom. The appointment was from 8-12 and the service tech did not show up until about 3:00. The service tech did a great job at getting the sewer line unplugged and was very professional.

RR showed up less than an hour after my call. The serviceman could not have been nicer or more helpful. I'll be calling again!

Had a plumbing leak in ceiling at 6:30 PM. Called Roto-Rooter and 2 technicians arrived within 1/2 hour. They quickly determined problem and replaced a T Joint unit.
They were very efficient and promptly resolved the leak.
Waide & Jeff were very friendly and understood the issue. We were very pleased with the resolution and technicians.

Wade was very kind and knowledgeable! He tested our drain service first before doing any work, just to make sure work was needed. Work was needed and he was professional and quick. Recommend.

So our plummer was amazing. His name is Chris Pierce. We called at 3pm and same day 5pm he's there.
We had pre-googled what might've been going on and low and behold we were right; there was a main clog in the main sewer line. this backed up the whole house, nothing flushed and with no where for the water to go, it backed up back into the house! (tub, showers).

Chris realized what was going on and suggested some items to help us with our problem. He was polite and professional and honestly deserves a promotion. He was just the kind of customer service that I want everytime! He even cleaned up after himself.

He even helped another employee with advice while actively working! (over a phonecall) Talk about a star employee!

I found /my/ personal plummer that I will always call.

I am very disappointed in how I was presented with pricing on the services I received and certainly in what I was ultimately charged. I never received a written quote on how much the service would cost, it was only verbalized in a confusing manner after he looked at the problem. Not quite understanding, I gave permission for them to proceed with snaking my clogged kitchen sink. This took maybe 30 minutes. Once completed, I received a piece of paper that had a handwritten number next to a line called "labor". No other details as to how this number is calculated. The job was completed (hence the 2 stars) but feel like I was conned into paying an astronomical amount for a service that took less than 30 minutes to complete. Their Billing Department has not been helpful to provide an explanation or any details on what I was charged for. At this point, I will not use Roto-Rooter again nor recommend to anyone. If you have to use them, make sure to get clear, detailed pricing before you allow them to perform their service.

Excellent and prompt customer service! Dennis Cordova was our technician, and was very professional, efficient and informative. He took care of our double sink clog in a timely manner and left everything very clean. I was very pleased with the Roto-Rooter experience.

I always have great experiences with Roto Rooter. Yesterday's was no different. Marvin came out in a timely manner, and was helpful and friendly, and fixed what felt like a huge problem with what seemed like ease. The top three things I love most about Roto Rooter that are always consistent are: 1) their excellent prices, 2) their timely service calls, and 3) their excellent communication to me as the customer. The staff was very professional when I called for service and a plumber was ok his way to my house within 45 minutes of my call. When Marvin arrived, he assessed the problem and went right to work. Problem was fixed very quickly and Marvin was very kind and professional. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter for any plumbing problems.

I was very skeptical about Roto-Rooter when I initially called, but after the serviceman came out and completed the job, I have a new found respect for them. Not only did he explain step by step what he was doing, but he also showed me via the "snake" camera. If I ever have any more plumbing problems the first company I will call is Roto-Rooter.

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 01/30/2012

On Sunday, January 29th, at 10pm all of our plumbing clogged up. The stand pipe drain for the washing machine had been overflowing for a few days and we had been trying to unclog it ourselves to no avail. The rest of the plumbing followed suit late that night. The bathtubs backed up, the toilets started overflowing and when we tried plunging it, the water just poured out into our basement onto the clothes dryer. It was looking very bleak. We started frantically searching the internet for emergency late night plumbers in Charlotte. We called them all and none of them could come to help us until days later. This would not do. Then we called Roto-Rooter. The operator was so nice and reassuring. She said that a plumber would be right over within one hour. It was only about 30 minutes before the plumber showed up ready to help. His name was Stan Sarlovskis and he was AWESOME! Stan is very professional and courteous. He went straight to the basement and assured us that he knew what the problem was and that he was well equipped to fix it ASAP. He quickly quoted us a very reasonable price and let us use a $40 coupon we found on the Roto-Rooter website. Stan got right to work and snaked the whole sewage drain leading out of our house. He told us our pipes are so old that we should use septic safe Scott's t.p. and told us not to flush feminine hygiene products anymore. Also, he pulled many feet of roots out of our pipes. We would never have been able to get rid of those roots on our own. Stan told us other helpful hints to keep our pipes clean and clog free for the future. He said at any hardware store you can find filters to put on the end of the washing machine drain to keep lint and hair from even getting into the stand pipe and that these were about 2 for $1! He gave our pipes a treatment of chemicals to dissolve any leftover clog overnight. He worked tirelessly from about 11pm to nearly 2am! He came back promptly the next day and finished up with a video inspection camera snake. He let us watch the dvd he made so we could see that our pipes were now clean and clear all the way out to the street. We were very impressed with Stan and Roto-Rooter. They came to our rescue so late at night on a Sunday! We are so grateful that Roto-Rooter could fix our problem. I would recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone with a plumbing problem - especially emergencies! They are honest, fast and friendly! Best plumber in Charlotte!
