By far the best place I have gotten a tattoo! I absolutely love everything about Paris Tattoos. From the moment you walk in the door to the moment you walk out, it's just so welcoming and comfortable. Paris does amazing artwork on people's bodies, you would swear it was an actual picture. Now that my tattoo is all healed up, I wanted to take an opportunity to add an additional 5 star review for Paris Tattoos. Paris is an unbelievably talented artist. The shop is impeccably clean and well decorated, and I felt comfortable immediately. This was my second tattoo and the experience I had at Paris Tattoo could not have been better. I plan on getting all my future work done with Paris. Paris is also INCREDIBLY patient. A few hours into my session I started tensing up a bit from the pain and Paris had to keep reminding me to relax. He was very polite and didn't seem to get frustrated with my low pain threshold. The finished product is a breathtaking piece of work. Also, the healing procedure that Paris recommends was very effective and unique. My skin healed very quickly with minimal scabbing. The fact that we have an artist this talented in Charlotte who also has a GREAT personality is wonderful. There's no reason to go anywhere else in the area for a tattoo. Also, Paris' wife Alexandra is a wonderful person who was very pleasant to be around. I'll be back!!

Unhappy with the start of my half sleeve with another local shop. I began my google search for someone to finish my sleeve and see MY vision. One look at the work completed by Paris Tattoos and I knew I'd found the expertise and artistry I desired. Paris was attentive and patient in helping me find the my design. We exchanged ideas and emailed on many occasions weeks before my scheduled session.



The studio is modern, very clean, and hosts many worldly painting and sculptures. It's comfortable and Paris's wife is friendly, helpful, and beyond knowledgeable on the whole tattoo process.



As far as Paris and his ability in tattooing, the pictures on the website speak volumes. Just look for yourself. The level and passion he brings to his work is impeccable (my tattoo is featured- Buddha on left arm). He used minimal stenciling and rather than laying heavy outlines, he moved from one part to the next. I honestly had never seen anyone tattoo with such beauty. While tattooing he operates with the upmost professionalism and focus.



My post tattoo follow-up is probably what keep Paris booked months out. I have several other tattoos and no one has ever called to check my healing process. I did experience some swelling and messaged Paris, literally 5 minutes after he called me (8am) with instructions and concern. Since then he and his wife have checked my progress. I am set to finish my 1/2 sleeve soon, and I honestly feel like I am family. If you are considering a completely satisfying and amazing custom tattoo experience- Chose Paris and you won't be disappointed!

So for my five year anniversary my wife got me an appointment with Paris. She was so excited because she had done her research and learned how good he was. I guess having quite a few tattoos, to be honest I probably wasnt as excited as she was until I went in for my consultation. All I can say is WOW! His studio is so far above what anyone would ever expect for a tattoo parlor that you instantly know you are in the right place. But thats not even close to the best part. Paris is a artistic magician! We spent two hours alone plotting out what I wanted and the end result is 100% beyond my complete satisfaction. I will NOT get any ink work done anywhere else. My friends are amazed at the detail this man does with his tattoo machine and are all planning on seeing him in the near future. I just cant wait until he gets another slot open to do more work on me. Being a local business owner myself, it is refreshing to go somewhere and spend your hard earned money and leave more than satisfied as that is how I try to run my business. Truely a stand up artist and shop!

I just had my 3rd and biggest tattoo done, my first at Paris Tattoo. Upon walking into the studio, it's really unlike most tattoo studio's you'll normally find. The decor and feel is upscale, and just sets a great mood. I met with Evan about doing my idea and we discussed the pros and cons of what i wanted, where i wanted and what i could expect, his thoughts on how to go about it, etc. Evan is a totally down to earth guy, easy to talk with and extremely talented artist. I booked my appointment for a few days later and was all set.



The day of my appointment, I arrived at the shop and settled in. Evan got everything ready and called me back. I knew this was going to be a difficult and tedious tattoo but he took it in stride, was able to make some jokes and we got underway. laying out the stencil was a bit of a task as i was having it done on my side and there was a lot of lettering, again, extremely professional and everything worked out perfect. Throughout the 4.5 hour session, we only took a few quick breaks, chatted and he really made it an enjoyable experience despite the intricate/tedious work, both him and me had to endure!



I will highly recommend the studio and both Paris and Evan to anyone, although I wasn't tattooed by Paris, he was doing a session while I was there and also by seeing his work, can without hesitation recommend along aside the other reviews here.

Paris Tattoo's shop has a great atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Paris did a stunning job on the detail of my tattoo. It looks exactly like the picture I gave to him and he helped me figure out the best way to do my sleeve tattoo. I am so pleased with my piece and will definitely get the rest of my tattoos with Paris. He was also easy to get a hold of when I had questions about my healing process, even on Facebook. Paris takes great pride in his work from my experience and is very involved with the healing process of his work, he has had me call three days after my session and then asked me to come in five days after to his shop to see it in person. I have had other tattoos done from other shops and have never had such a great professional experience like I did at Paris Tattoos.

I am extremely proud to say that I have had work done by Paris Pierides. He is a world class artist with world class character. By far one of the nicest people I have ever met. And his skill level and creativity is unmatched. I have been to multiple studios and had work done but nothing compares to my experience here. He cares about his legacy. He will not tattoo just anything, he will tell you exactly what will and will not work and why. Some shops will tattoo any image for money, but not Paris. His shop is an art studio and extremely clean. Makes you forget that you are in a tattoo studio. He cares about his work so much that he continues to follow up by calling and also having you return five days later. He even stopped by my work on his way to the studio to see how my tattoo was doing. Can you tell me any other artist that would do that? His method of healing worked so well that I was completely healed in one week. His wife, who runs the shop, is an absolute joy to be around. And when it comes to actual tattoo time, he is a very funny guy to talk with and he has an awesome, eclectic array of music that he has jamming. Loved the entire experience and will recommend Paris Tattoos to everyone who says "wow, what a beautiful tattoo."

Paris and Alexandra are amazing individuals....very fun, down to earth and not to mention creative!

I have know that I wanted a back piece for years now, but was at a loss for ideas. I found Paris on Facebook and instantly requested him. While browsing through his portfolio I knew that he had to be the one to leave an artisitic fingerprint.

I work in Iraq for a majority of the year and come home every couple of months. It took a couple of rotations to discover an available slot...that was purely by accident - someone cancelled - sorry for them, but thankful for me! :)

Alexandra called and set up the appointment - outstanding lady might I add!

I went in the for appointment - Paris looked at me - asked what my interests were and what types of tattoos I liked (feminine, etc) - then he started to create a masterpiece on my back (yes, drawing it free-handed).

When he said okay, what do you think...I took one look in the mirror of the peacock feathers stretching from my left shoulder blade to my right hip and melted...such magnificence...and it was going to be a part of my body for the rest of my life in minutes! For lack of better words....YAYYYYYY!!!

Two appointments and 9 hours total later...perfection!

There are other tattoos that I have that I once thought were good...I will be coming back to Paris to work on those as well...

I originally went to a local tattoo shop to get my first tattoo on a whim and was mortified by the results! I was so disappointed and upset that I never wanted to go through that again but I knew I didn’t want to walk around with that hideous thing on my body for the rest of my life. I found Paris Tattoos online and read the reviews and was immediately impressed. I went down to his shop two days after getting my first tattoo to see if there was anything that could be done. First impressions are everything and as soon as I walked in to his studio, a feeling of relief came over me. He said he could either cover it up with color or I would have to have it lasered off. I knew having it lasered off wasn't an option for me so I made an appointment with him to have it fixed.



The day of the appointment I was as nervous as I could be but once I got there, his level of professionalism comforted by the fact that I knew I was in good hands calmed me down. Due to the size of the original tattoo, it would have required a massive tattoo of something else to cover it up. Instead of covering it up with a completely new piece, he transformed the existing tattoo into a beautiful work of art. The minute I saw my new tattoo, I was in love with it! I couldn’t wait to show it off to everyone! I guess you could say I was a little gun shy from my first experience getting that horrible tattoo but once Paris was done and I saw what he had done, all of those feelings of doubt and regret were replaced with happiness and excitement! He transformed my ugly duckling into a swan!



In addition to being a great artist, Paris genuinely cares about his clients. He was very empathetic to my situation from the very beginning and continues to stay in touch to ask about how the tattoo is healing and to make sure that I am completely satisfied. I couldn’t ask for anything more. I highly recommend Paris to anyone that is considering getting a tattoo. Do your homework and check around and you will find that no one else compares. Paris is a true professional in every sense of the word. I cannot thank him enough! All I can say is he didn’t win “Best Tattoo Artist in Charlotte” for nothing!

I love my tattoo! Paris worked absolutely free hand, he took the time to talk with me about the elements that were really important to me started with a sketch, erased that, and then let the creative juices flow. We talked during the tattoo about how the work was progressing and made decisions that brought the final work to a culmination of immense beauty.

He is amazing to watch work, he had nine machines prepared, and made adjustments as he went so that he could get the perfect line or shade. Paris took the time to set up four different shades of gray, and hand blended the white. He had surgical precision. His machines became paint brushes on a living canvas. Paris Pierides is truly a master and anyone would be lucky to work with him.

It’s only been a few days since, but the positive feedback that I’ve received is amazing. People at first are generally impressed. Upon a second look it sets in that they didn’t notice the outstanding detail. Another look reveals that the shading and layers seem to be infinitely blended. I have a piece of art now that I will forever be proud of.

I was involved in a tattoo collaboration with a "friend" and assumed I was getting a custom piece. The only part I was able to get completed was the outline due to scheduling and then I found out the outline was a trace from someone else's tattoo!! :( I was very disappointed...



So, here I was on the lookout for another tattoo artist who could finish my owl to my satisfaction and with trust! I was looking through the shops that have been around town for many years and found great ideas...BUT, I decided to google "tattoo shops in Charlotte" and this very moment changed my everything!!

I stumbled upon (more like divine intervention) Paris Tattoos! From the first glimpse I was hooked and sold on this place...

I stopped by to check them out in person and I have never been in such a classy, eclectic tattoo/art studio. I was at a loss for words! I truly had no idea that this genre of business could be so colorful, energetic and full of life - and that this type of style had moved into my city!!! You can feel the positive energies as soon as you enter through the door! It is by far a step above your average tattoo parlor that generally has the hard edged roughness that defines the scene! This "studio" is filled with artifacts, artwork and pictures of amazing tattoos! Paris and Alexandra take pride in their chosen paths and that exudes from every corner!

I received a nose piercing from Alexandra first. She is so gentle in nature and very kind. I closed my eyes and before I knew anything was happening, she was done - it didn't even hurt a bit!! She is very fluid in action and very detailed with care/cleaning instructions. I then met with Paris and at first, he wasn't so excited to finish someone else's tattoo! The reasoning?? He didn't want to be disrespectful to the person who started it!! How's that for A-1 style?! He agreed to help me out and I am so very grateful!

I spent 4 hours with him on his table and it was something I will never forget! He is so very engaging and concerned with your well being. We had great conversation and great music. I very much enjoyed the atmosphere; very relaxing and easy going during a thousand+ needle punctures at best!! I am already thinking of many more to get! I have wanted tattoos for a long time and just waited...to find Paris in my own back yard!! He is also very concerned with after care to ensure proper healing and schedules a follow up just to take a peek! Few places care so much after the sale is complete...the final view shows his dedication and detail orinetation to the world and he really cares what others will see! Art is his life...

I highly recommend this studio to anyone!! I'm still in awe about the images that come from this Man and his imagination...one of a kind person in this sea of life that can put art on your skin for you to carry for eternity!!

How does one take an idea barely in its infancy and turn it into a work of beauty and elegance? This is the question I have been asking myself since I walked out of Paris Tattoos on Saturday, April 2nd. I walked in with an idea and a couple of pictures and came out 3 hours later with stage one mapped out on my body. The owner, Paris met with me and listened to my ideas and was very helpful in explaining to me the whys and why not’s of what would work and what wouldn’t. I gave him complete creative license explaining that I just wanted something feminine and elegant. Once the design was created, we begin to map it out on my body and what started as an idea of a very symmetrical back tattoo blossomed into a very sexy refined piece of art that starts at my thigh and swirls around to my upper back. Paris is an extremely professional person who takes the time to make sure that the details are perfect. His art is a true reflection of the man. I would recommend highly to anyone.

I just moved to Rock Hill and I've always been a fan of tattoos. I was wanting to get a chest piece while I was down here and i looked around at local artists and I ran onto Paris Tattoos and I told myself I was not leaving to go back home untill I got a tattoo by him. His work is incredible and my tattoo experience was 1 and a million. I honestly dont think, well I know i could never get such good tattoo work from any artist back in Kentucky or the surrounding areas. My tattoo expience with Paris was great and i have the best looking tattoo ive ever seen. I'm so proud of it and i cant wait to get more work from him.

I first came across Paris Pierides when I was searching in google for "Best Tatto artist". I have been looking for about 10 years for a very specific kind of artist to handle my project. Up to that point, I hadn't been able to find anyone in the US that met my requirements. Don't get me wrong, there ARE good artists here in the US, just none that were meeting my standards, I ran across his name in the search when it pulled up an article creative loafing did on him in 2009. I was curious so I searched out his website. The minute I laid eyes on his work, I knew THIS was the artist I had been searching for. What WONDERFUL luck that he chose to move to Charlotte! I immediately set about trying to get in to talk to him to see if he really would be able to do what I had in mind. We met, though he was quite busy with prepping for another client, he still had the time to talk to me about my ambitious vision. The man matched the art. Mr Pierides is a very professional, well spoken, dedicated man. I have had two 6-7 hour sessions with him thus far with several more to go. I can say with absolute certainty that NO ONE else will be permitted to set ink on me. I am now, without question, his dedicated client and am honored to be able to say that. His work, his eye for the details, his skill with color blending and shading, and his commitment to ensuring the best possible result have certainly endeared him to me and I am estatic with our results. If you want some cheap drunken mistake tramp stamp, don't waste his time. If you want an enduring piece of artwork gracing your body, this is the place to begin.

When I set out to get my most recent tattoo, I decided that I should do some research to determine the best tattooists in the Charlotte area. I knew of some studios that had been around for the past decade or so, but before beginning my research I had never heard of "Paris Tattoos." Naturally, when "Paris Tattoos" showed up in my search results with a multitude of five star reviews, I was curious. I've spent a lot of time looking through tattoo galleries, and I like to judge an artist by their observable abilities before I judge them by their written accomplishments. I'm someone that goes by my gut instinct, my first impression usually being the most reliable, and once again this has proven to be true. As I glanced through Paris' online gallery, it didn't take me long to decide that I must be looking at the artwork of someone incredibly talented, someone that I wanted to tattoo me. I quickly decided that I must know whose work I was looking at before I continued looking through his or her gallery, so I jumped over to the biography. Perhaps needless to say, I was pleased to discover that Paris Pierides is a world-renowned tattoo artist and winner of many tattooing awards. That said, let me attest to the fact that Paris' abilities far exceed his international recognition. When you meet him and see the work he does it becomes obvious that he is a true master of the art. Even though Charlotte is an ever-growing city, I am still amazed that it harbors such a talented artist. Charlotte is beyond fortunate to have a tattoo artist of Paris' caliber, and I have nothing but the highest praise to bestow upon him. It is an inexcusable shame that Charlotte has yet to give Paris the recognition that an artist of his talent deserves.



The quality of your experience at Paris Tattoos begins as soon as you step into the studio, or perhaps even before that if you call to schedule your appointment. Paris and his wife Alexandra are both incredibly polite and helpful when it comes to scheduling appointments and planning for your body art. I've never been in a tattoo or piercing studio like theirs; from the red leather sofas and pristine wooden floors to the tribal masks and original works of art that adorn the walls, the studio itself is nothing short of aesthetically astounding. Furthermore, the space is immaculately clean; there is certainly no question about hygiene in their studio. It is a work of art in and of itself, exuding the essence of quality and care that Paris and Alexandra apply to all of their work.



The experiences of making an appointment and visiting the studio, as wonderful as they may be, pale in comparison to the experience of actually working with Paris to complete your tattoo. He has exquisite insight when it comes to designing art that fits not only the contours of a person's body but also their personality. For him, your body is a unique canvas, and his goal is to turn you into a true work of art.



Two (and I am sure there are more) unique abilities that make Paris' work more credible than most: (1) He has a strong instinct that he is not afraid to follow and (2) he has many years of practice supporting his art. If you give Paris an idea and let him run with it, he will give it life! I feel honored to have been this artist's canvas. He transformed my original design into something bigger and better than I could have ever imagined. And since he tattooed me a week ago, I haven't been able to stop planning what work I want to have done next.

I don't know where to begin. My experience @ Paris Tattoo was AMAZING. He is a super talented Artist, and truly cares about his craft. He takes the time to sit with you and really consult about your tattoo, give you advice and really give you the most beautiful tattoo you could imagine. The studio is a piece of art itself, like nothing I've ever seen, super clean and welcoming. It's definatly not your average.I like the fact that even after your tattoo, he wants to see you to ensure your healing propely and that your both completely satisfied. He is a perfectionist to say the least. If your looking for a beautiful piece of work, something that literally changes your life, go see Paris. I only want him for aany future tattoo's that I have, and am already planning the next.
