Gus's Sir Beef Restaurant

This trip was doomed from the beginning the parking lot was a shamble, trash around the back door and cigarette butts around the entrance. The service was lousy our waitress spent all her time with her boyfriend whom we think appeared to be her boyfriend, also though he was shabbily dressed party of nd extremely dirty..My fried chicken was undercooked and when i returned it the owner refused to recook it or give me something else so me and my party of 5 got up and left.

Gus's has been a staple in Charlotte N.C. for many many years. I am in my 30's, and remember eating their with my grandparents when I was 5 and younger. If you are looking for a place with good down home food, soul food, italian food, greek food, or just a good old american cheeseburger and fries, you will never find a better place than Gus's. However if you want an experience in food that you will never forget, definitely try the beef tips over rice with the onions and peppers. And get a double order of the fried squash. Remember their vegetables are grown fresh in their own garden and picked fresh daily. So treat yourself to comfort food at comfortable prices, see you at Gus's!
