La Stalla Cucina Rustica

This is our favorite Italian Restuarant in the USA. Unusual recipes and hearty servings! Love the ambiance and the excellent service. They have very affordable lunch specials! My favorite is the Barrata appetizer and their Tiramisu! If you can't eat in Italy, this is the next best!

Had a business recognition dinner here and picked the restaurant based on the reviews. It did not disappoint, food was great and authentic, service was great, and the ambiance was great. I would highly recommend, and we will definitely be returning. Great local restaurant in downtown Chandler.

I've been to La Stalla twice now and both experiences have been fantasitc. I ordered the gnocchi both times and it was probably some of the best I have ever had. My second visit to La Stalla was for my birthday and my friends and I sampled a little of what everyone else ordered and I have to say that everything was the bomb!!

We had a really great dinner here and will be back! The food was excellent, our server was fantastic, and the atmosphere and faux Italian coziness of the place was just what I needed after a long stressful week. We had a stracciatella with grape tomatoes to start paired with some San Giovese wine which I loved. It was dry velvety rusty and rasberry - made me very happy. For Secondi I had a gorgonzola primivera salad which consisted of sliced green apples, grapefruit and (walnuts?). My gorgeous man had some seasonal veggies with olive oil, sea salt and pepper. For our entrees I had a Penne with tomato sauce and eggplant. It was so fantastic. Hot and tangy and the pasta was perfect, there were tiny bits of eggplant here and there with such a great texture. It's so easy to overcook eggplant. This eggplant was not mushy nor too firm. The boyfriend had some gnocchi with asiago cheese = cheese potato pockets of goodness. I stole more than one taste across the table. They were pillowy and the granular cheesiness paired well with the soft texture of the gnocchi. I almost wished I ordered it but was quite happy with my penne.

The tiramasu is so creamy and the creme brulee... too good for words. My mouth waters just thinking about it. Ummm cant wait to go back.

My husband and I rate La Stalla in our top 10 couple places we love to go in Chandler! It is actually number 1 I love coming here we come here every chance we get.

My only complaint would be that the portion sizes are too big. I ate too much but I guess I cant blame them haha. I would have been happy if the entree were half the size it was but nope and i ended up eating it all. Too much of a good thing.

I have had countless meals at La Stalla and have never once been let down. It offers a true Italian experience with unique flavors to be paired with great wine. The staff and atmosphere is very welcoming. This is a great date night location!

The next time they gave the place another go was a different story. They got a waiter or waitress, and they were quite pleased with service. As was I.

La Stalla has to be the BEST Italian place in AZ.

Had their lunch special and was superb. Staff is very friendly and they took their time with smile to explain about all menu items. Decor is true to any very good Italian restaurant and have a great selection to choose from. Very impressed and would recommend.

Had lunch there the other day after being recommend by some Italian friends (who still speak Italian - real deal!). Had the linguini with seafood and it was amazing. Light on the garlic with a little hot red pepper allowed the flavors of the seafood to shine. Will be back for sure!

My husband and I were in for dinner tonight and I am compelled to share how wonderful our experience was. Even though they were very busy and we did not have a reservation, the hostess sat us at a wonderful table. Our waiter, Ricardo was excellent and right on spot from recommending perfect wine choices to not allowing us to enjoy our courses without pestering us. Too often waiters must turn over their tables quickly so seat another grouping. Not the case here. We thoroughly enjoyed a leisurely meal. We've been here a number of times, always with the same excellent food, excellent service. The chocolate soufflé accompanied by vanilla gelato...to die for! It was a perfect ending to our evening out.

The food is not overly rich and drenched in sauce like some of the chain restaurants. Service has always been prompt and pleasant.

Fabulous decor and ambiance! I've went with large work groups for dinner at least 5 times... even with 12 people the service was awesome! I can't tell which is my favorite dish... they are all so good!

I have frequently visited La Stalla and I wish I could go more often. The place is adorable and romantic. The list wine has a good variety and the food to die for! Save room for the tiramisu it will blow your mind!

Ahh, what can I say. The food is simply delizioso. Went there tonight on an off chance for fine Italian and I was not disappointed. The Pollo Al Limone was breathtakingly good. My husband had the Pollo Alla Parmigiana -- hmm the food was melt in your mouth good. Previously had tried a neighborhood Italian place in Chandler and it did not hit me at all. This one in downtown Chandler is definitely worth the trip. Topped off dinner with the Limon Gelato -- wow -- delicious, light and satisfying. They have lunch specials for $6 so I will be back to try those also.

This place is terrific. The service is among the best. Very good house wines and decent pours....and during happy hour only $3/glass! I have never had a less than wonderful meal there. And the pizza is really, really good, too!

Came in for the first time. The lunch special banner got my attention. Was given the economy menu and ordered the Margarita pizza. IT was really good and big. Great price of the portion. Nice place. Great server.
