La Stalla Cucina Rustica

My husband and I go periodically and have always had a great experience. We love local restaurants and abhor chain restaurants!

My parents are Italian so I grew up on east coast Italian food and I lived in Rome, Italy for a couple years in my 30's - so I have a nostalgia for authentic Italian. La Stalla is the most authentic Italian food experience I've ever had in the Phoenix area. Delicious, simple cuisine, with a beautiful Tuscan atmosphere. I've been there many times and tried most everything on the menu - it's all been excellent.

Gorgeous little restaurant with delicious food! Food was food, nothing amazing. Service was fast, and the ambiance is so romantic that it kind of makes it amazing.

The regular food is great during dinner time & the happy hour specials are a good deal; the wood-fired pizzas are authentic.

My daughter choose this restaurant based on the reviews she read. We were pleasantly surprised with the variety on the menu. The prices are OK and the size of the food portions just right. I recommend this restaurant for a place for families to dine during the week days, or early evenings.

We live in Phoenix area. 6-8 times a year we eat at La Stalla. When we have out of town guests from Minnesota that like Italian we go to La Stalla. Place is fun. Food is excellent. Service is great. Parking is easy.

A small, family owned Italian restaurant that has terrific food, atmosphere and service. The menus are well planned and executed to a "T". Pricing is fair for the fare. No skimping on food but not a trough either. Wine menu is updated often enough that we regulars have to check it to see what's new and worth trying.

I moved here from Chicago a few months ago but before I did I flew in town to find a place to live. I stopped into LaStalla for dinner and found the place to have incredible food, atmosphere, and people.

This place is amazing. Quaint, little Italian cafe across the street from the Crowne Plaza San Marcos hotel. I had the homemade chicken soup and it was so good I went back a second time for it! They have daily lunch specials for $6.00. Huge portions, great service, lovely ambiance, and home cooked goodness! You won't be disappointed.

We love Italian food, and we were thrilled to find La Stalla right across from our hotel. We were so pleased, in fact, that we returned the following night! Our first night centered on the pasta. It was excellent. I had the Papparadelle with scallops and porcini mushrooms, which was wonderful!

This is one of our favorite restaurants. Everything we have tried on the menu is delicious and authentic. The atmosphere is very nice and the service is usually very good. Definitely the best Italian in the area. Would highly recommend. Excellent pizza with $5/pie lunch specials on the weekend - fantastic.

We are regulars at La Stalla for multiple reasons! The staff is at tentative, the food is above and beyond the chain restaurants, and the Tiramasu is the best I have eaten, even better than what I experienced in Italy! They have a great lunch menu that is affordable and plentiful!! Pizza made in their own wood burning oven and outside...

Nice little Italian place in Downtown Chandler. Who would have known? Good food. Good service in my list of favorites of that area now.

They have great food with healthy portions. It was very tasty food and lots of it for a very reasonable price. The staff was great, thanks Duane! I would go back again in a heartbeat. The Tortellini Aurora was delicious with great flavor profiles. The Tagliatelle Ella Toscana was delicious, meaty and flavorful. I highly recommend this place.

Decided to go on a Sunday and it was very nice. Split a $6.00 wood fire pizza and a salad with my husband. I thought it was very good. They have some really nice $6.00 deals at lunch. I absolutely love the atmosphere in there, very cozy.

While on a family trip, we stayed at a hotel with sub par food so this restaurant made our trip! The atmosphere was very pleasant and made me feel like I took a trip to Italy rather than Chandler, Arizona. The service was quick and great, and the food was too good to stop eating! I've recommended this place to anyone.

We have relatives in Chandler, so when we visit, we now make it a point of visiting La Stalla Cucina Rustica. Exceptional restaurants in Chandler seem hard to find, but we've thoroughly enjoyed both visits here. Located in Old Town Chandler, the restaurant features a beautiful atmosphere. It seats a max of about 100 comfortably; the ambiance is upscale and romantic. A perfect place to celebrate a special occasion without breaking the bank. We loved all the pasta we've had, and the salmon was excellent for both visits. This time we had the chocolate soufflé for desert, and it was delicious, and a little larger than the typical size. The service has always been impeccable; you won't find any 18 year old inexperienced servers here. This is not the kind of restaurant to bring noisy kids to. There is also a bar. Very classy without being stuffy. Can't recommend high enough.

Best Gnocchi I have ever had! This was one of the best most authentic Italian dinners I have had in a while. The Gnocchi I ordered was out of this world good. All of my coworkers also enjoyed their meals!

Nice menu, but I stopped reading at gnocchi. Very good and a generous portion. Also had the tortellini soup. Had an Italian beer with the meal and an espresso after. Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere.

Love the ambiance and the food! Best Italian restuarant outside of Italy! I will highly recommend this place to anyone who wants the taste of true itailian food without taking a plane to Italy.
