I was quite happy with my experience with Junk-A-Car. My wife had had her car for about a decade, and over the years it gathered some cosmetic damage, but managed to keep running without much service. After a move to MD, it passed the safety inspection, but emissions was another story. An inspection by a trustworthy garage revealed that it needed at least $2500 worth of repairs to get it through the tight emissions controls in this state. The garage would have given us $175 for the car on the spot, but I figured we'd shop around first. No dealer would give us trade-in value, so we were left with the option of trying to sell it privately, donating it, or scrapping it. Fortunately a quick call to Junk-A-Car netted us several offers, and we were able to have it towed away from our home for free, $300 richer for the experience. Great customer service made it an easy process...just give them the title and keys, they give you the check and tow it away. It's that simple. Highly recommended!

The original caller seemed very rehearsed and sped through my claim number, so I never called back, but once I got the email with the information, I called, got a fair quote, and the car was gone the same day.

Pick up of the car (scheduling, calling ahead, courteous, etc.) was great; initial call in was not real efficient ... talked to 4 or 5 people, got one price, got cut off, then got a call back later in the morning with a slightly higher offer after talking to another couple of pople.

Customer service was horrible! I ended up hanging up because the guy was very rude was not helping me. Sighing at every I said and making it feel like I was a burden. Defiantly not doing business with them.

Almost the Worst Phone Customer Service I've Experienced. Maybe you could get better, but the first one hung up on me, assuming because of bad phone connection, but then the 2nd person hung up in my face in mid conversation after offering $200 for a WORKING Toyota Camry. My mouth was left wide open. That's how shocked I was once he uttered the words, "Well you have a good day sir CLICK." I would NEVER use them, even if they offered a TON of money. Just Principle.

I would recommend this service. Very quick, friendly, and professional. The driver called same day to set up retrieval of the vehicle. No hassles, just good service.

Everyone I talked to was polite. The driver called about ten minutes before he showed up and was also very nice. I didn't get any money for my car, but it was an old car and apparently not worth anything. They got the thing out of my yard, though; so I can't really complain.

Sold my 2004 non-drive able Toyota Tacoma to Rusty's Auto Salvage. They offered the best price by far out of the 5 other salvage companies I called. Setting up a date for pickup was easy and both the customer service representatives and the tower ('Copart Company') were very professional. I highly recommend!
