DOn't go to him...

My husband and I applied for our green cards in 2004. There was a special category at that time through which we would have gotten our green cards in 9 months (all our colleagues, who did not go to him, got theirs in <9months).

It has been 7 years and last year, we were told by Mr Recabo himself that 'for some reason ours were not submitted in that category'. He tried to give different possibilities and explanations as to why that might have happened, but the bottom line is that he made a mistake. Had we know earlier, we would have tried to fix it or reapplied in EB2 (as we both got higher education in these 7 years), but now we have invested 7 years of EAD fees and AP fees and the stress associated with this situation.



I regret going to him and will warn all of you.
