Leading Edge AutoBody & Mechanical Repair

Even thought I don't live in Baltimore anymore, when I am in town I try to schedule my oil changes or other car maintenance appointments with them because I love the work they do so much. Jeff runs a great business and I would recommend them to anyone looking for auto work.

We've been using Leading edge for 8 years now. Jeff, Yanni and the Leading Edge team started looked after our 2001 Corolla and 2002 Subaru before we traded both in. The repair prices were reasonable (1/2 to 2/3 the cost of the dealership in most cases) and the work done right the first time.

Hands down recommend the quality of their work as well as the staff. These guys work hard!

My car was a technical total loss because the damage was 75% of the value of the car, but it was still completely drivable. The damage was almost entirely cosmetic. I went to two other body shops for quotes and they were skeptical and reluctant to do the work. Then I went to Leading Edge. Not only did Jeff make it out to be no big deal, his quote was hundreds less than the estimates by the other two body shops. And when it was all said and done, they did a BEAUTIFUL job. The car looks amazing and they finished the job in three days. Really easy to work with too. Thank you, Leading Edge!

To sum it up: I trust these guys. They have always been straight with me: "No, you don't need that," and on occasion have fixed small things for me for free. They have enough work and don't need to make up excuses to charge you another $20 or something like chain shops. They give good advice that obviously isn't just lining their pockets, and it means a lot to me to have someone telling it like it is.

One of the best shops around. Jeff and Mike don't try to upsell you into something you don't need. They do great work, let you know where your vehicle might need some tlc, and get you out of the door asap.



I wouldn't trust a car to anyone else.

This place is amazing. The guys there, especially Yoni, take their time to go over things with you and the best part is that they are the most honest and nicest mechanics I have ever known!! Definitely the first place to take my car, and if not, then go for a second opinion here before you spend major bucks on a repair.

yani is pretty much the nicest mechanic I have ever met. He went above and beyond to help me with a problem in my 1987 subaru station wagon. I was having a total melt-down about having to drive my car to NY, and he made it so I was able to continue on my way. He was totally reasonable and helpful in explaining everything that he was doing in a way that most mechanics can be rude about.

Ok so no one likes to go to the body shop because that means something bad happened to their car and they also know that as soon as they walk in they can just watch their money fly out of their wallets.

Well yesterday I got into a fender bender when a guy hit me during a rain storm and then drove away. My back fender was bent in and also coming off the side of the car.

I went into Leading Edge this morning around 8 and they told me that it would cost around $50, but they'd have it done within the hour. I walked to Starbucks next door and when I came back it looked like nothing had even happened to my car.

They blew back out the back and put the fender back in place perfectly!

When I went in to go and pay they didn't even charge me and just sent me on my way! I would suggest Leading Edge to anyone they were super friendly, fast, and obviously inexpensive! If you're in Baltimore with a car problem I wouldn't go anywhere else!!!

These guys fixed my car perfectly with no hassle or confusion. They were especially helpful in helping me understand my insurance options. Pros: smart and dependable.

I recently came out of a restaurant to find that my sweet little Honda Fit had endured a nasty hit-and-run. The bumper was half-off, the left rear panel was massively dented in -- it was ugly. I'd never needed an auto body shop before and I was SUPER anxious about finding a reputable one. We've all heard horror stories.



I am so glad I went to Leading Edge (based on Yelp reviews, actually). Jeff gave me an estimate quickly, worked efficiently with my insurance company adjuster to agree on a price, and answered all of my questions. And even though it was right around Thanksgiving and they were swamped, the work got done efficiently.



One thing that really made me feel I'd put my car in good hands was while I was in the waiting room getting my estimate, an elderly woman came in and said her brake light was out. She wanted to know when she could schedule a fix and sounded really worried about having to be without her car for a day. Jeff offered to swap out the bulb right then and there if she had a few minutes to spare, for about ten bucks. You just don't see easygoing, friendly customer service like that anymore! Little things like that make me feel good about giving them my business.



My good opinion of them was further affirmed when I picked up my car. The repair and paint job look flawless - my baby was back to her old self! The color matching and pin stripe look great (and I'm super fussy about that, since the orange pearl color is a big part of what drew me to that car in the first place). I sort of hope I don't need to go back to Leading Edge, since that would mean my car has been knocked around. But if I'm ever in that unfortunate position again, I will go back here, no question.

Leading Edge Auto Body delivered great workmanship and friendly customer service that went beyond my expectations. My Lexus looks better now than before the repairs. I can recommend this shop to anyone without hesitation. Pros: Fast quality service
