Howard Johnson Inn

Do Not stay at the White road facility. We were rented a room. # 273. The room smelled like mold, there was no information as to where the ice machine was, AND when I tried to call the desk, the phone did not work AND there was a little yapper dog locked in the room downstairs barking his lungs out!. The young lady working at the desk told us, when we came back to explain our dislikes, was VERY rude!!! She told us that we had 15 minutes to check in to our room, and after that she could not give is our money back.. I told her that if she could not refund our money, I would call the police for a Keep the peace, so he could witness our nightmare at this time. The sassy little girl answered her phone I assume she talked to her manager and said I will give you your refund! She pulled the cash from the drawer. I asked, In my experience when you make a credit charge, I get refunded with a credit! She said, give me the cash back I need to reverse your charges! "UGH"

,. I have worked in Hospitality, and never came across a business like this. I would stay where!!!!!! I chose after this nightmare, The Garden hotel. Same price, a mini suite and nice people with a sit down breakfast.. As far as a star for Howard Johnson??? Minus 100 stars!!!!!!!!!!
