Super 8 Bakersfield

the rooms smell like pine sol and curry. the rooms are small so the stench was horrible.. I had the AC on and the window open to let the room air out... and the owner (who works in the office) called MY room and told me to "turn off the ac, close the window or leave" JUST HORRIBLY UNREASONABLE. I WILL NOT BE A GUEST IN THIS HOTEL AGAIN, THERE ARE OTHER HOTELS COMPARABLE IN PRICE LITERALLY RIGHT DOWN THE STREET.. MAYBE THEY'LL APPRECIATE MY BUSINESS..

Very nice, quite, clean place to stay. The staff at the Super 8 Bakersfield Motel were great as well as very courteous, we would come and stay again when we return to Bakersfield.

For all who need good advice on where to stay while in Bakersfield...I recently stayed at the Super 8 for a business trip. The entire experience was a pleasure. The rooms are somewhat small I suppose but so comfortable size no longer seemed to matter. The bed is the most comfortable I have ever slept in, and is the new ultimate for my comparison purposes. The staff was very helpful, professional and friendly. The stay was so positively memorable I would travel to Bakersfield just to stay there. Yes, for me, it is that good.

We loved our stay at Super 8. It was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning really helped since we had to be up extra early. I will defiantly stay here again. Thanks for being so accommodating.

The hotel surroundings and room were kept clean. Breakfast was nice with hot, freshly made coffee, milk, orange juice, apple juice, waffles ready to make, selection of white or wheat bread. We were well pleased.

I had a nice stay at the Super 8. I had a nice room and the rate was reasonable. I would recommend to anyone who needs a place to stay.

The rooms were very clean and the decoration was very pretty. The beds were very comfortable. I was really able to get a good rest. Nice hotel! I will definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

A friend told me about this hotel. What a find!! The room was nice, and I enjoyed having the advantage of walking to most places I needed to be.

Great value for the price. The free breakfast was a plus. Less carbs for breakfast, but the waffle making machine was cool. Clean & comfortable.

Stayed in BF traveling from Utah to Fresno for Thanksgiving dinner. Nice basic accommodations to catch a few zzz's before continuing on to visit family. Continential breakfast was good (3 kinds of cereal, danishes, muffins, juice, fresh fruit, etc) but family before us cleaned out everything portable stuffed in their pockets. Accepted pets which was reason for picking motel. Only charged f.ve dollars for small dog. Front desk was VERY helpful trying to set up wi-fi in room and close captioning on the TV. Would recommend if you need room and bed with no frills.
