Orangewood Suites Hotel

Had to go to Austin for Texas relays book room ahead of time. Arrive 4 hours before check in time my room was ready I was allowed to check in. Rooms were nice just as the picture were online, rooms big and had a lot of space,staff were friendly, the free continental breakfast was good and we even got seconds. Will stay again next year for Texas relay.....

we stayed there as a family, lots of space and good beds , very clean and good comfort. we stayed at a loft appartement . the hotel is near the highway , a short ride to texas university and down town the staff was very helpfull. nice breakfast and light supper too.

I recently completed a contract in Austin and although I was there over 2 years, the contract terms permitted my client to cancel anytime. Orangewood Suites worked out an attractive rate by which I could stay without any long term commitment at an attractive price. It really became a home away from home.

We were passing through Austin briefly and were looking for a practically priced accommodations with 2 beds, to accommodate a family of 4. This was an excellent pick and also very well situated. Delux double rooms in this hotel have a second level loft with an additional bed and an additional TV. There is a kitchenette with a fridge and a pull out sofa. There was plenty of room for all of us and we had a truly restful stay. Breakfast is included, and is similar to a Hampton Inn quality. The location is fantastic, on the side of town, which means no congestion getting in and out and only 3-4 miles to the University and city center. Overall a pleasant stay and great deal indeed!

I traveled to Austin Texas, March 18-20 for SXSW music fest and I stayed at this Orangewood suites. I have to say, for the price I was not expecting the room to be this immaculate and large. I traveled with a group so we had 4 rooms, I stayed in the studio king suite and the space was more than enough. Living room with fireplace, large flatscreen TV and sleeper sofa, kitchen with supplies and a balcony with chairs. There is a partition that goes into wall between the bedroom and living room, you can pull it out to create division between the bedroom and living room providing privacy to each section. The bathroom area is nice too. Water pressure was heavy and we had hot water every single day. The shower head so low though so it hit me in my chest which really wasn't a bother. I wish it didn't rain every day of our stay so we could enjoy the pool. I would definitely stay at this property again if I was ever in the area again (although very unlikely since I didn't care for Austin, TX) and I would certainly recommend it to anyone traveling to the area. I'm from Chicago where we have amazing accommodations and I am an employee at a Hilton property, so you can certainly trust my review. My first interaction with the front desk agent wasn't pleasant, but then I left, called and explained my situation, then after returning it was better. PS they offer free breakfast but I was never able to take advantage of it as I forgot both mornings and free Wi-Fi!
