Orangewood Suites Hotel

My fiance and I spent our last night in Austin at the Orangewood suites. It was first a little hard to find as the exit is right off the highway but it is easy to miss the street. The front desk staff were very nice and accommodating. Our room was very big and spacious. It was nicely decorated and had a nice, cozy feel. The bathroom was clean but old looking. I am very picky about hotels and always look for a location that is pristine.

This hotel was also relatively close to the downtown area of Austin (about 10 minute drive) so this was another plus.

Had an Excellent Accommodation for a nominal cost at Austin. Nice Breakfast, neat and tidy rooms. Really had a joyful stay. Deserves Perfect Score in Ratings. Hope we get a chance again to stay

Loved it. Nice rooms, nice management, and a fair number of amenities. Noise was a bit of an issue, but that wasn't the hotel's fault. Key didn't work at first, but the night receptionist helped quickly and efficiently.

Free meals and beer that's always a plus and the rooms are clean and staff is great .

We had a great stay. There is lots of construction but it never effected our stay .

I loved that all 3 of my kids had a place to sleep. Finding a room for 5 is always a challenge. Room was super clean. We loved it!! Would definitely recommend it to friends!!!

I'm staying here and it's a good hotel.Check in was a breeze. The room is extremely clean. The bathroom is clean and stocked with essentials, soap, shampoo etc and plenty of towels. Free breakfast in the morning! It gets an A from me.

The room was PERFECT!! Clean, neat accommodating, well organized .

My wife, son and I stayed here while our house was being built. We lived here for 6 months. The place is in need of updating, though they are in the process of doing that now. The place was clean and the A/C - heat worked fine. The staff is top notch, friendly and helpful. They have a breakfast every day and a dinner Mon-Thur. Breakfast is fine with a hot offering that rotates along with the usual toast, bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit, drinks and such. The maintenance staff is on top of any problem you may encounter. There are usually a few state troopers staying there so I liked the security that provided. The cleaning staff was very nice and did a great job. Location is very convenient to the Austin area. Close to downtown and easy access to the highways that will get you anywhere. Enjoyed our stay and the folks running the place. We would stay again. I actually need to go visit everyone. Especially with the new renovations this place will be top notch. Stay, you won't be disappointed!

If I ever need family or friends to stay anywhere, I always recommend them to go here because of the loft prices. I've been here a couple of times and I love the whole upstairs/downstairs loft hotel. It has a kitchen and it has two restrooms as well as a living room. Talk about a home away from home! I felt so comfortable and the staff were really friendly! David Rogers helped me to find this place and gave me a great deal to stay there several days! I like that it's in the middle of Austin so it's very convenient for a night downtown or go up to North Austin for some great restaurants. Thanks, Orange Wood Suites! I'll be returning soon!

Stayed with some friends for bar hopping. We loved the spacious room and the gift basket was a plus! It felt very homey. Front staff was awesome! She always stopped what she was doing to answer my questions with a positive attitude. One of my friends has severe allergies to almost everything, so if they didn't clean properly, his skin would have flared up. No flare ups, so kudos to the cleaning staff!

Staff was good. Good prices.. had comfortable stay !

The room was big with a full size kitchen and living area. The bed had extra pillows. Large flat screen TV with cable. Private patio. Full breakfast freshly cooked. Complimentary dinner served daily. Happy hour. Friendly staff. Good value overall.

Rooms were very clean, roomy and well conditioned .

Suite was spacious, clean, well designed .

The comfort of the room was excellent. The beds were very soft also .

It was so much space for 5 people it's really a steal deal for so much nice stuff for so cheap .

Quiet. Comfortable bed. A good place to crash .

This was our third time staying here. It is close to places we frequent when in town, spacious rooms.
