Dr. Sean William Mulvaney, MD

I came to see Dr. Mulvaney over a year ago seeking any improvement for my PTSD. I didn't think things could get better, but I was willing to try SGB. Dr. Mulvaney and his staff were very kind and informative throughout the whole process. As soon as my first injection was completed I felt lighter and as time went on I barely noticed my triggers anymore. After eight months I began to feel my symptoms reoccur, but nothing like how they were before the first SGB treatment. I went back for some relief and my anxiety immediately disapated. I know I did the right thing by coming here for SGB treatment and I feel hopeful that I can live peacefully for a long time.

Dr. Mulvaney is a world authority on the use of SGB for PTSI. He has published key research on this topic, and has taught many other physicians in the technique. More importantly, he truly cares about the outcomes his treatment produces. He is a kind, humble soul with skilled hands. His staff Kim and Nancy are also great!

His demeanor is perfect for dealing with patients with anxiety or PTSD symptoms- an often-overlooked facet of care of patients with psychiatric disorders. He explains everything clearly and in simple terms, and is a compassionate and caring provider.

Dr. Mulvaney and his staff were incredible, my best experience with any doctor and staff. I felt very cared for, that I was in great hands, and everything went so well. The procedure both days was easy, painless, and afterwards there was a calmness and mental clearness that I had not experienced in the 12 years since my trauma incident. I feel blessed to have found them and this treatment.

It's been great. It's not the easiest experience to describe. It's as if your overbearing anxiety and stress just evaporates. Like going from being in traffic, late to a meeting and unprepared, to sitting on a beach not having to be anywhere, where the only noise, internal and external, is the sound of the ocean.

Dr. Mulvaney was courteous as was his staff. I was hesitant to receive this treatment, but I was put at ease by his explanation of and experience. Really glad I followed through on getting the block.

I came to Dr. Mulvaney for lower back and SI pain that had been limiting my activities for 6 years, There were days that I had a hard time getting from one room to another inside my house with 9/10 pain on the regular. The easiest , quickest procedure, the most productive treatment i have experienced. Bonus is relief from chronic wide spread pain.

I came in wringing my hands, my legs were bouncing up and down. I didn't notice at first until Dr. Mulvaney asked me how I was doing mentally. I was nervous and hopeful, more nervous. Dr. Mulvaney explained to me what was happening every part of the procedure and even had me laugh a couple times as he shared personal anecdotes. I felt no pain during the procedure. Dr. Mulvaney was diligiant ensuring that the block took. For this and everything else I am greateful.
