Outstanding doctors and staff. They go above and beyond to make the experience as good as possible. I have been to other pain management places and they were dirty with half the people nodding out and a few always talking about what drugs they take and get off the street. I have never seen anything like this at Kure.
I read what Nina L. said and that has not been my experience. I had one procedure cancelled when a doctor was ill but we all get sick and I would rather him not get the rest of us sick.
I would and have recommended Kure to any of my friends and family in pain.

I have been to Kure Pain Management 4 times, and canceled on 3 times. I began looking for places to help with my awful back pain. My first appointment was a consultation to see if they could help me. I scheduled facet joint injections for 3 weeks after that appointment. I had to take off of work to get these done, and the day before my appointment they called to tell me the doctor actually wasnt going to be in that day so i had to reschedule 2 weeks after that. following the injections I was still having pain so i had to get injections even lower in my spine. My appointment was in the Annapolis location on Thursday at 9:30am, I never got a call to confirm but they called that Thursday at 8:30 to tell me they couldn't sedate me because a nurse was out so i could either get it without the sedation or reschedule, again. 10 miinutes later i get another call saying they cant do the appointment at all so i needed to reschedule. 5 minutes after that I get another call saying I can go to the Kent Island location that morning. So i scheduled the appointment and got ready to go. Then I got another call saying they had to cancel. Needless to say I will never go back. Not even for a follow up.

My primary doctor suggested I go to Kure, because he knew Dr. Davies and he had a great reputation. He wanted another opinion on my lower back and pain in the hips and legs. I had back surgery years prior with no relief, just added hip and leg pain. I was told that Dr. Davies was on vacation for the month of August but could see Dr. Cope. I had done physical therapy, chiropractor, several injections and nerve blocks and other pain management doctors and was just looking to see if possibly another surgery or something would give me a more permanent relief.
I finally was taken back to a room. Dr. Cope came in and spent a whole whopping 10 minutes with me and told me that I needed to go to rehab. I was floored. She was such a fantastic doctor that looking at me and talking to me for 10 minutes and I was a druggy. Wow! I everything else must be in my head! She gave me a sheet with their information. I went to check out and the receptionist said didn’t need to come back. I was in total shock, I had been to a dozen doctors who spent hours with me and they couldn’t figure it out. Well I went off the few medications to see if I was addicted and nothing happened except I was in pain but had not problem going off them.
I then got the bill in, $360 for a 45 minute consult. How could that be she only spent 10 with me. Oh, that must have been for the time I waited in the waiting room for her. Then of course a $30 drug screen that must of told her I was an addict. The best part is when I saw my insurance claim that showed a $1,600 lab bill for a full drug screening that showed I was not an addict. Don’t you think you should wait until a full drug screening comes back before you make devastating diagnosis?
Last but not least, I have called five times in the past two weeks trying to get someone to speak with me on this. Always a promise someone will get back to you by the end of the day. I will not mention the names of the young ladies. I finally called today, No, nothing resolved. You think they would have at least called with my results from the lab, I didn’t even know they had done. If it wasn’t for checking on my insurance claims I may never have known. Heed my warning go somewhere else. Total waste of time and money!

Thank you very much for your call and follow-up, it feels good to go to a place where you can trust and also have compassion for what one feels. My Dr as well as other Dr.'s I have seen there and the staff have been a great help to me and I would also like to check into physical therapy there.. Thank you. J. Hopkins
