Overall

Absolutely Terrible work and customer service. I purchased a solar system, new HVAC, new tankless water heater.

I still have not received a final invoice on the work and the work is still not fully complete.

Here is a list of all the issues that we ran into (so far):

*Tankless water heater was installed, but wouldn't work more than about 30 seconds. They installed the exhaust into the same line as the heater (page 1 of install guide says to install on dedicated exhaust line), which causes the water heater flame to continually go out and produce error codes and not heat the water. It took several tries to finally install it so that it actually works. Even though it works now, the installation is not up to building codes.

*The water valves on the tankless heater leaked. They had to replace these. This one probably wasn't their fault.

*Part of the job was to upgrade my electrical panel. After the initial install, my fridge and microwave circuit no longer worked. I had to run an extension cord to another plug throughout the house. This took 3+ weeks and many calls to have them even come back out to look at it. All the while, leaving the electrical panel open with exposed wiring and not completed.

*When pulling the refrigerator out to be able to plug it in elsewhere, they were not careful and completely scratched up my kitchen floor.

*Once they did come back to fix the electrical panel, they decided they needed to completely replace it again (of course no wires were labeled or anything). The process to do the second upgrade took 2+ weeks, with various power outages throughout. I had pretty much just the hot water heater, a few outlets that were powered, but no lights of course.

*At one point they broke the PNM meter so I only have half the conductors coming in, meaning most of my power was out again. Then they called PNM to come replace it and PNM took the meter for 3 days until a new one could be installed. Yes, no power at all for 3 days.

*After opening up all my outlets, switches, etc, looking for something that had blown and caused the fridge and microwave not work, they decided to look at the panel further. Turns out there wasn't enough space in the initial panel to install everything, so they decided to just tuck the wires behind the panel...disconnected. This took 4 different electricians and troubleshooting for 5 days to figure out. Interesting how when you don't plug wires in, the circuits don't work.

*When the panels were installed on my roof, they were supposed to seal brackets that connected to the roof. Didn't do it. Leak in the kitchen on the first rainstorm. They then got some sealant and sealed just that one bracket. Next rainstorm, leak in the garage.

*They decided that since my ladder was similar to the one they use, they probably should take it. Also, I am missing several drill bits (ones that I have never used and haven't ever been out of the case.

*"PNM" lost my initial paperwork for the REC meter, so I had to fill it all out again and write a new check.

*The blower fan on the heater and A/C vibrates the entire unit, creating a buzzing sound whenever it is on.

*My front yard has been very nicely decorated with cigarette butts.

*The areas where they worked were not cleaned up and are quite messy with drywall and other supplies.

*They didn't remove any of the garbage/boxes, so I am slowly having to get rid of it myself since I don't have a dumpster.

It is very possible that I left out some other issues as well.

Unreliable, undependendable and extremely poor customer service....From the time I tried to make an appointment I was put on hold and it took a considerate amount of time to even get the name of the company...Never showed up for the service which I purchased from living social. Never returned any of my phone calls....absolutely disgusted by the whole situation.

Overall
horrible customer service

I began a solar project company out of Rio rancho in February and as of this date it is not complete and no one has given me a call back and refuses to talk to me. The sad thing is that I had several interested parties wanting to be recommended and at this point I would not recommend this company to a single person

I was very impressed by this company. I bought solar panels from them and the end product is great. The job didn't take very long, only a few days and it looks professional and I am very glad I went with them.

This is a great company in my opinion. About a year ago, the cleaned the air ducts at both mine and my parents house. They were very professional and gave great quality for such a small price. My parents have been looking into Solar Panels for a very long time so of course they were the first to call. Jason once again, gave us a very good price explaining every part of the process to us. My parents were approved immediately and the job was done even faster. The solar panels look beautiful. I am in the process of buying my own home and I will definitelt be giving them a call.

I just had solar panels installed in my home and I am blown away! First of all, they look great. They are professional and neat and look even better than expected. Second, it was a very quick process, the install only took two days. So far I have had no issues, I haven't received my first bill yet, but I am predicting it to be a low one.Two thumbs up, I would hire them again.

I had a great experience with them. I bought the groupon which was already a steal, the girl who made my appointment on the phone was very friendly and pleasant which I appreciated. I also received a solar estimate with them which was unbelievable (my neighbor paid almost twice the amount for hers) they just finished installing it a few days ago , I cannot wait for my first bill.

About a month ago, I purchased solar panels from this company. This was mainly my husbands idea so i was a little apprehensive about it at first. The guys we were really nice and knew what they were talking about, they work didn't take as long as I though it would (about 5 days). I also got a new AC unit with my purchase.

I really liked this company. I bought the groupon for the whole house package duct cleaning. After their visit, I can tell a huge difference in my air quality. My whole family has allergies and they have been better since our cleaning.

With this company, you get more bang for your buck. I called them for an estimate for a solar panel and for a small company, you can tell they know what they are talking about. The technician arrived within the time frame I was given when I made my appointment. He was very knowledgable and super polite, he also gave me a price that was much lower than an estimate I had recieved a week before. I was approved for financing within a week and immediatly after that, we made my appointment. the insta team was great, they worked fast, but got the job done properly, which I appreciate.

I seen this company on groupon and decided to give them a shot. For $49 dollars I wasn't expecting a lot, but I was very upraised by what I got. The customer service is probably one of the best experiences I have had so far living in this city. The lady I poke with on the phone was very polite and professional. I asked a lot of questions and she had answers for them all. My technician, his name was Jason, was also very professional. I am a perfectionist so I always need to know exactly what is going on. He was patient with me and explained things to me as many time as I needed. He even started to speak to me about the solar panels and had a little extra time to get an estimate, I have only had one other solar panel estimate and this company was way cheaper. I will definitely purchase my solar panels from them.

I am really shocked by their prices. Two weeks ago, I bought a solar panel and received an AC unit for free! For that type of deal there is usually a catch, but not with this company. They did a great job and I ended up getting more than I wanted for much less than other companies.

As a small business owner myself, customer service is very important to me. My wife is very picky about who works in our house and has often sent people away. When she is happy, I know something went right and she was very happy. Amos was very professional and made us feel very comfortable. He had a small tattoo on his arm and asked us if we minded of he removed his sweater while they worked. That has never happened to me before and I was pleasantly suprised. I would hire them again.

I am very happy with the service! It was quick and very inexpensive. I have had many people do services at my home, carpet, windows, landscaping etc. They had by far the best constomer service and I appreciate that.

Horrible

I can almost guarantee the positive reviews below were written by staff/owners of NM quality air. For starters they all sound the same, were written a day or so apart from one another, and nobody includes that many exclamation points or the company's name in a review. Which is unfortunate since I bought a groupon based in part by the reviews. This company gets you to sign up and pushes the hard sell. It was my fault for believing them. You pay upfront and from there a full battle begins. There is no "the customer is always right" mentality. It's more of an attitude like you were stupid enough to pay us and now what do you want? Service?! Well you can wait. Their secretary is rude, their techs just push the buck, and nobody and I mean nobody takes accountability for their actions. When you call to express a complaint they won't hear you out, yell over you (typical bully-personality disorder mentality) and if you keep trying to talk she hangs up on you. Do not do business with this company unless you really want frustration and just want to throw your money away!

This all started with a Groupo...

This all started with a Groupon. During my initial appointment, I was upsold. I researched it and it made sense.

But this company isn't even trying. And they charge up front with promises of a job completed quickly (I never pay up front, but I was ordering custom vents). It's now been two weeks and I still have nothing that I've paid for (which was the entire job). Their lead tech, Jason, is very sloppy with communication, even though he gave me his cell number. He promised to be back the next day and I never heard from him--and his voicemail was full. Do you know how hard it is to have a full voicemail from day to day?

They sent out a technician after numerous reschedules and he didn't have the parts that I've already paid for. And it turns out that the parts take 2 - 3 weeks to arrive (it'll be two weeks tomorrow) and they're supposed to arrive at the customer's home. Do I have them? No. Did I pay the most I could have for them? Yes. Did the office bother to look at my job and find out if the tech would have what he needed to do the job after so many failed attempts? No. So when the tech arrived today (a Sunday that I sat aside time for) there were no parts and therefor no completion to this job, yet again.

Each time I've called, the office doesn't even know what my job consists of. They seem to not even have computers for reference--it's the only explanation for such abject ignorance. This is the poorest run company I've encountered in some time. Since nothing has been done, I will be calling them tomorrow (Monday) and getting my money back. I suggest that no one else give them a dime.

I bought a Groupon for an air-duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning (along with 319 other people at the time of writing this review).

I had no issues scheduling an appointment. They called the day prior to confirm my appointment. I was scheduled for 8-10, and took the day off from work.

At 8:50 someone from the office called to confirm my address. My house number is very hard to see from the street, so I had told them to call from the street when I scheduled. The office person told me they were outside, so I went out and waited for 15 minutes. During this time, I called back to the office to find out where the techs were 4 times. None of the calls were answered. I was finally able to reach their voicemail and left a message telling them to call me back, so I didn't have to wait in the sub-freezing weather.

10 minutes later the office worker called back to say the techs would call me. 10 minutes after that the tech called and said he was at a corner about a mile away. I gave him specific directions on where to park and to call me from the street.

They finally arrived around 9:30, took one look at my townhouse withouth bothering to even come in and said my ceilings were too high (8'-10' on 3 levels). He said they didn't service places like mine because they're "too hard."

2 things...

1. Without even looking at my place, that reaks of laziness.

2. If that's really the case, someone from the office should confirm the height of the ceilings before making the appointment. Now I'm out a day of PTO.

I called Groupon for a refund. After 20 minutes on hold with them, they said they needed to escalate the issue to confirm that NM Quality Air refused to service my house. Finally, I called back to NM Q.A. to make sure that wouldn't be an issue. Guess what? No answer.

High ceilings aren't that uncommon. If you're really unable to service houses with high ceilings, ask how high they are before you schedule an appointment. Evolve your business or fail.
