This used to be the best place in Louisiana to go BEFORE, Jan 2015, when Dr Amaker retired it went to hell! I had surgery (cut open) in March because of pain, Dr Gould refused any pain medication following my surgery , this was after the butcher that cut me up ALSO refuse to give me any medication, by the way I got an infection because these medical doctors wouldn't give me any antibiotics either. I was told by these ( doctors ) that they could not write prescriptions for pain medication, they are lying, I checked, not only can they write prescriptions for pain medication, they can write up to a 3 month supply, according to the NEW rules! I do not appreciate being flat out lied to by a doctor who I pay for a service! I have been using this office for 20 years, but I will DIE before I set foot in this place ever again, I would suggest you find some where else to go too, I'd be willing to bet that if I were a member of one of these Drs family or mothers in pain, I would have all the medication I needed to be comfortable.
