Jim Hawker is the nicest guy in the world. He helped me out when someone hit my van-he quickly got the estimate done, called State Farm, and connected me with a rental car company. He fixed my van perfectly-it looks better than it did when I bought it. For a reasonable price, he also fixed a problem with a door, unrelated to the accident, and now for the first time since I bought it, the door finally works right. The dealership charged me to fix that door, and it never opened properly, and Jim found the source of the problem and fixed it permanently-and found an electrical problem that had shorted out the door lock. He also cleaned my very messy van, so it was better than it was on the inside too. He must have been a boy scout, because he leaves things better than when he got them! I have a taillight cover to replace, and I'm going to have him do that, too. I live in Livonia, so Ypsilanti is out of the way, but he's MY body repair shop now.
