Aspen Chase Apartments

This place is not safe. The crime rate here is high. My neighbor who works for the city of Ypsilanti had hisbhuge SUV stolen. The robbera took his dashboard off, threw it on the ground and drove away. Its been 3 months and no one has been caught. The gate isnonly down from 7pm to 2am. After that, all criminals are welcome. All you have to do is tell the gatekeeper you live here and you can come right in. He doesnt check so really there is no point in security.



The office staff looks like they are doing their job, but they do not address problems as they say they are. My neighborabhave been harrassing my family by banging on my celing all day long with a broom or whatever they have. I have a 4 year old son who plays during the day. They call the cops at 11am, 6pm...whatever they feel like. I finally talked to the neighbors. The office has been telling us to call the cops on each other and not to talk to each other. They have been a huge source of the problem, basically allowing the harassment to continue just because they can.



The same neighbors went into our office to check for packages. The office gave these people 3 huge packages that are so big and heave I paid $43 for shipping, that were ADDRESSED TO ME AT MY HOUSE IN MY NAME! There was no way this was a mistake. These were products for my home based business that cost me over $350 to re-order because they were just lost by the office. I had been going into the office every day for over a week looking for these huge packages. The office staff knew they were mone. Well, I talked to this neighbor last night. Her husband cant read English and just signed the paper saying he picked up my boxes. The office changed the sign out sheet to say his address instead of mine to cover up their mistake. The office then told me that McKinley is not responsible for any pqckages that come in and out, although they accept the packages and lock them in a closet.



If you value your privacy, safety and respect, run far away from here.

If you value your things, your life and your credit STAY FAR AWAY from here! They will smile & lie to your face (tell you there's no break-ins even though the cops admit it happens literally EVER DAY in this complex)! They will make you wait damn near a week (making you feel extremely unsafe without a door) while they take their time repairing the door after a break-in! Then they will falsly mark your credit report with an eviction and demand you to pay over $3,000 if you leave!
