Fillings
Today’s composite filling restorations are strong, more functional, and certainly more aesthetically appealing! That is why, at Bucks County Smiles, we do not use silver amalgam fillings. Simply put, modern composite fillings are much safer. They are non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and blend in with your natural teeth.
Resin Composite
Dental bonding is made from a composite resin that can also be tinted to match your teeth coloring. Dental bonding is commonly used as filling for cavities as well as to fill cracks and small gaps in teeth. Composite resin bonding can also be used to cover the front of teeth like porcelain veneers. They are not quite as durable as veneers but very cost-effective.
Veneers

Dental Bonding
As part of your smile makeover, we might recommend porcelain veneers and/or dental bonding to repair and restore teeth. Porcelain veneers are biocompatible restorations made from tooth-colored porcelain ceramic. They are durable and natural-looking. Typically, porcelain veneers are used on the fronts of the most visible teeth to create an even, white smile.

Root Canal Treatment
At Bucks County Smiles, we like to fit our patients with CEREC® crowns instead of traditional crowns whenever we can because they are so fast and convenient. Gingivectomy and Gingivoplasty
A procedure known as a laser gum lift (also known as a gingivectomy) can uncover the natural beauty of your full smile and increase the overall health of your mouth. Gum lifts can be used along with porcelain veneers to create an overall more aesthetically pleasing smile. Maintaining healthy gums also prevents tooth loss and the need for dental implants or dentures.
Periodontal Surgery
The LANAP® protocol uses a safe, targeted laser to treat gum disease. Specifically, the LANAP® protocol uses a PerioLase® MVP-7TM dental laser that utilizes a specific wavelength to kill bacteria hiding in gum pockets. The laser is able to reach deep into the space between the teeth and gums without harming the gum tissue. Because no cutting of gum tissue is required with the LANAP® protocol, the treatment is less painful and more comfortable than traditional periodontal surgery. It also results in incredibly fast healing times.
Deep Cleaning
The medicine in your Perio Protect trays renders the bad bacteria that cause gum disease inert and breaks down the bond between them and your teeth. Both of these elements are very important. This means that your deep cleaning to remove plaque and tartar becomes much easier. It now only requires minimal scraping to affect its removal.

Dentures
Dentures are removable prostheses that resemble natural teeth and gums. Full dentures are more commonplace and replace an entire upper or lower arch of teeth. Partial dentures are designed to fill in gaps between the natural teeth.
