The Kennel stresses a vetting process for each animal. Lies. Employees are forced to deal w/ animals that may prove docile at first but turn restless. Should a dog prove themselves hostile then the employees can only depend on one another to manage a dangerous animal. More often than not the management will admonish the dogs if they're too noisy & even neglect their well-being: too hot during the summer, too cold in winter, even skimp on medicine! "If they don't want to take it then don't worry."

Management will allow any animal there so long as it means more $. As for employees they're expected to take on responsibilities for which they never volunteered in their application: groundskeeper, improve infrastructure, and garden no matter rain or shine and in a kennel that routinely flooded due to poor construction! During the fall there would be leaf burnings and the kennel would always lie downwind from a bonfire that was fueled w/ gasoline!

The management skimps on hourly pay, insisting that if there's nothing to be done then employees can scram, and should there be any concerns then all problems are dismissed. This was typical of the couple in charge in which they fostered a phony atmosphere of concern, but would flout their own duties: losing paper work, give little to no warning of a client's arrival & changed out their staff yer after year or reduce it to a skeleton crew in order to save additional $ expecting those left to drop whatever they were doing outside of work!

Needless to say the employees suffered with most expressing dissatisfaction despite dedicating themselves to 7 day work weeks. Work too slowly and there's punishment. Work too quickly & you'll not be paid the full amount. As for pet services there's many others besides WWK & knowing that it's not the only business which the couple has going on (1 of 3) they'll not hurt for the loss of business.

My first time ever using a kennel service. The people seemed nice... they are a Christian family, but the kennel is an older looking facility, and I'll admit I had some inhibitions with leaving my dog there, but being that it was already arranged and we needed to get on the road, I thought perhaps I was being a bit harsh in my first impressions, never having used a kennel service before. When I went to pick up my dog, her pet bed was soaked in urine, and they didn't even offer me a plastic bag to put it in... just handed me the wet pet bed. The dog was hyper to get out of there too, so I ended up driving home with that urine smell making me nauseous after only a 10 min. drive. Don't think I'll be going back again.

Have been using them off and on now for about a year with our dog. Always find them to be friendly and attentive - never a problem!
