Horrible experience...

Once I got there the guy (Kenneth Martin) asked me in a smart ass tone: "You know that the price is $25 for older cars?!" I knew that.

For some reason he was moving slow and acting disgusted without any work drive. It was not even the end of the day to be tired..

He starts his procedure, then he tells me that the temperature gauge is on high and he can not continue to work on my car and I need to get out of there quick so the car does not explode (?!)

That was weird... my dad just drove this car from NC to GA and it was not getting hot. I get in the car, looked at the temp gauge.. and it was a little above the middle... not hot. I did not pay much attention, I believed him and thought that maybe for a moment it was hot.

He says: "I'm open till 5, but if there are 30 cars here in line, I won't be able to take your car later today."

So I take the car to a shop near by. They look at it, drive it, test it... All normal. Not overheating. they do an oil change, added a little coolant, test it again, revving it...nothing.

I go back around 4pm. He was testing one car and there were no other cars. So I wait about 10 min for him to finish the testing and he comes and asks: "Do you have paperwork?" I give him the invoice for the cooling system inspection from the shop, the car does not overheat and he can try again. Probably he looked at the gas tank gauge, not the temperature one...

And he just said: "I don't want to test your car. You can leave. I already spend 20min preparing for testing the first time for free. Look, 3 cars just came behind you, please move, I will test those. I'm a private business and I can test only the cars I want. Your car was overheating first time and I don't want to look at it a second time."
Did not even want to look at the gauges, just asked me to leave. Left and passed emissions at Town Lake Emmissions, no issues.
Kenneth Martin should find a different job...

GO SOMEPLACE ELSE! The service here was terrible. I left in tears due to the rude attendant!
