Artisan Childcare Center

It is the best school around here. Clean and Nice. The staff is very friendly. They have music and art and gardening and lots of educational activities. I am glad we have found this school so that our 3 year old daughter feels safe and happy.

Our daughter started at Artisan at the end of 2009. After looking around the area in Melrose, Stoneham, Winchester and Woburn, we knew instantly this was the right place for her. We couldnt be happier with our choice. Everything is so clean and brand new, the teachers are fantastic and our daughter had zero transition issues. The outdoor space is wonderful, and feels more like a huge yard at a home than a "center" yard fenced in. The focus on music and art is wonderful the fact that she'll get piano or violin lessons once she's in preschool is just amazing. There is a big focus on music in her current room, too, which she loves. The focus on the environment is an added bonus. Theres a gardening program in the spring and summer, so kids can actually learn where food comes from and eat what they grow. On top of everything, the rates are comparable to (even less than) all of the other places we researched.

Our infant just started at Artisan and so far we are very happy with our decision to send her here for daycare. On her second day they e-mailed us some adorable photos of her having fun in her new environment- really put my mind at ease. Teachers and director are very professional and knowledgeable and the place is the cleanest and brightest I've seen. A bit pricey, but the piece of mind is well worth it.

This is a new center - very clean, professional staff. The curriculum is fantastic. The teachers are genuine. We love the place.

This center is the best I have seen. The space is so open, warm, and clean! The teachers are highly qualified and they genuinely care about integrating arts (music, painting, etc.) into the curriculum. I feel at ease and that I'm giving my child the very best when I leave her at the center.

I went to their Festival this weekend and this center is amazing! All the furniture and toys are brand new and high quality, not plastic, it's wooden furniture and the teachers were all so warm and welcoming! Once my contract is up at my center now we are definitely enrolling!
