Stan has been a proud member of the Cedar Creek Animal Clinic staff since 2013. A 1990 graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine, he has practiced in Sioux Center and La Porte City, Iowa. Staying up on continuing education in areas of behavior and Camelids has been an interest of his. His 3 sons and 9 grandkids keep him busy with family activities. His leisure activities include attending grandkid's school activities, fishing, geocaching, horseshoes and darts. Stan has also volunteered his time to help the ISU College of Veterinary Medicine in thier Spay/Neuter/Vaccination Clinic at the Crow Creek Reservation in South Dakota, where he is a tribal member. He also can be found attending the Iowa Theater showings with occasional visits to Frostees! He continues to look forward to visiting with the clinic's current clients and meeting new ones.

General Pet Care

Boarding
We have separate boarding facilities for dogs and cats. Our boarding kennels for dogs have rubberized floors with in floor heat, windows for natural lighting and a fenced walking and play area with 3 individual backyard-sized runs for extra exercise time. Our boarding facility for cats has a window for natural lighting and a view of the countryside. Our cat condos each have a perch and cubby hole. For long stays, one of our exam rooms can be converted into a deluxe cat boarding suite.
Grooming
The veterinarians at Cedar Creek Animal Clinic provide veterinary services to small animals in our pet hospital and large animals in our onsite barn facility. Farm calls are available for those who would rather care for their animals at home. Our animal health care team also provides boarding for cats and dogs and offers basic grooming services. We serve Winterset and surrounding areas in Madison County.
