I came in tonight with my family, food was good. Got a to go order for my husband of a cheeseburger. He got home opened it and no cheeseburger. Onions slaw and chili there, no burger. Called just to let them know, offered me a credit for next time, fine by me. Called me back telling me everyone bagging remembered the cheeseburger being out on. Not a liar, not arguing over a hamburger patties, wow. Keep your credit, I'll eat somewhere where not called a liar for a dollar burger Patty. Ridiculous!

We have been customer's at Zoe's for months, going 2 or 3 times a week. We went tonite and ordered a steak for the 1st time. It was HORRIBLE. I took 1 bite. I asked to have it removed from my bill ( I offered to pay for the shrimp and salad) and the cook came out, said the steak was fine and we WOULD pay for the whole meal or he would call the police. Needless to say, we won't be back.

My Family and I have eat there several times hoping it would get better but please be prepared for them to get your order wrong and be told by the male owner you made a mistake ordering and he will not make it right and then said go eat somewhere else. that's the best suggestion ever.

Eat here frequently! Always great service and awesome food. Everything we try is perfect. Servings are very large and we always come home with half of it for lunch the next day!

Visited this restauranrt recently and had a terrible dining experience. Even though the server wrote down my order correctly, the kitchen got it wrong on two counts. Our server suggested that I was not clear in ordering but she somehow managed to write the order down correctly. She reluctantly returned my plate to the kitchen to be corrected and returned with a very sullen attitude. She made it a point through the remainder of our meal to roll her eyes in exasperation whenever she was near our table. Other servers even noticed it and apologized on her behalf. The cashier suggested I leave a tip on my debit card even after I told her about the terrible service. Not going to happen.

Went to Zoe's Southern Grill for lunch today. To start off with a good note we were seated quickly and my wife said the burger was very good....Now on to the real review. On the list of lunch specials included Flounder. When the food arrived the fish looked perfect! I wish I could say the same about the taste and texture. The Flounder fillet was the consistently of paste or minced fish, I would go as far to say as mashed potatoes. I asked the waitress to remove it from our bill so she had the manager come out (Zoe? maybe? don't know) At which time I showed her that without effort I could sit my fork on top of the fish and I will sink through to the bottom. I pinched a piece off piece of the fish that immediately "mushed/mashed" and turned to paste in my finger without any effort. She immediately got defensive as if I had the "nerve" to complain about their food. Her reply was "the fish is fresh and I won't get sick if I eat it." She then proceeded to say "it is cooked properly this is how it is suppose to look and taste, if it was catfish or a fresh water fish I would understand your concern." She then stated she could not remove it from my bill. Less than 5 minutes before this encounter another gentleman complained about his food to the waitress. I was not sure what he had but her response was "I'm sorry another person ordered the same thing and they enjoyed it, but I will have it removed from your bill." Did I mention this gentleman was white? And I am black? hmmm would she have honored his request to remove the fish from his bill?????? Those of you brave enough to test this establishment my recommendation is to stay away from the fish, according to the manager it won't make you sick! But I can guarantee you won't get what your paying for which is properly stored, cooked, and edible fish.



For those of us who know fish there are a few reasons it can turn out this way, either undercooked, over cooked, it was frozen and defrosted, or maybe it was sitting in water too long

Not ever again!

I was very excited about having a new restaurant for our area! Oh well I'm over this one! My daughter and son-n-law took me here per my request for my birthday, I ordered country style steak, mashed potatoes with gravy and fried okra. About 20 mins received meal ( not bad) looked down and thought what is this meat? I took one bite and quickly remembered that flavor! Its what I hate from the frozen food section at the grocery store Banquet style, didn't like it then don't like it now! Mashed potatoes were most definitely instant, mix made brown gravy and okra from the frozen food section as well. Save money go to the grocery store. I sent the plate back and ordered a cheeseburger after 20 mins I told them never mind, then the owners daughter came over picked up the ticket and said we will only charge for the country style steak! My daughter told her I didn't eat it and she stated she could give us another meal but if they took off a charge for food that someone doesn't like than they couldn't stay in business! Well that said it all for me!

Great Food & great service!

Initially, I came across this site while searching for the phone number to call in an order. I started skimming thought the reviews and thought maybe I was reading for the wrong restaurant! Some of the things I've read really surprised me. My family and I have been there almost every other day since they opened maybe a month ago. Never once could I say that I wasn't absolutely satisfied with my meal or service. The food is excellent, and we have never seemed to see anything wrong with any of the staff. Having moved here about 10 years ago from NJ, I thought the people THERE were rude but I quickly learned that Davidson county is WORSE than any northerner could ever be. I think everyone needs to calm there selves and quit being so judgmental. If you didn't like the food, there's always a mcdonalds next door!! Anyways, just thought I would add my two cents for the day! God bless you all! ����

My meal, lukewarm oil saturated shrimp, under cooked mushy flounder, tasteless slaw, potato not fully baked.

My service, adequate

Check out, The lady at the register chomps gum with her mouth open. When asked how my meal was, I answered "Fair". She didn't even flinch, no reaction or response. She couldn't have cared less.

Mt summary, won't be back here again.

We ate there last week. The food was average. grilled chicken for my grandson, and meatloaf for me. 3 vegetables with each entree. My wife ordered from the Senior menu, and ordered 2 vegetables. The waitress told her she got 3 vegetables also. As we were going to pay, my wife noticed the total on the bill. When she noticed that she was charged extra for a vegetable, she told the cashier that the waitress told her she got a third vegetable. The cashier turned to the manager, and as my wife was explaining, again what had happened, the manager blew her off. My wife tried to call and discuss this with the manager, after we got home. The manager wouldn't even come to the phone. Now, granted, $1.75 isn't much, but the way a customer is treated can sink you, and going by the reviews I've read on here, you would probably do better getting a hotdog at Sheets on 150.

Love this place!

Zoe's has been open for about 2 weeks. We have had lunch from there at least 6 or 7 times. I had breakfast from there this morning. I have been completely satisfied with every order. I have not yet eaten in the restaurant. All orders were called in and picked up through the drive thru. My orders have always been accurate. I love that they do not nickel and dime you for an extra ranch dressing or for a cups of ice. I have no complaints at all about the service in the drive thru, the service on the phone, or the food. They are very generous with their portions.

The wraps are awesome, the home made chips are perfect every time, the chef salad is huge, and my BLT was great!

I did notice that the 1 star reviews were from the first week that the restaurant was opened.

I would say, give Zoe's another try! ;)

Went there tonight. 3 at our table. The waitress seemed to be confused a lot about her job. She took our order and instead of turning it in she went to 2 other tables and took their orders. They came in after we did and got their food before we got ours. 2 of us got their food in about 20 min. the 3rd came out about 5 min later. Ordered garlic bread with that order. after we were almost done eating and asking the waitress about the bread 3 times they finally brought out Texas Toast. Ask the waitress for a large to go box and finally she came by and set 3 small boxes on table and said here this will have to do. In the front corner was a big stack of large boxes. I went and got my own. Also saw waitress carrying water glasses by the top. 1 waitress came by holding 4 glasses up against her apron with her arm near the top. The top of the glasses were against her apron which could have not been clean. The whole crew needs a lot of training.

It's really a shame...the location is great...and I was sure hoping that this place would take off...but I seriously doubt that it will. I had some severe stomach cramps after eating here...and so did another teacher at my school....coincidence?

My husband, children and I ate here the other day. We were very excited but left disappointed. We were seated in a timely manner but had to wait over an hour for our food. Several tables seated after us received their food well before we did. We wouldn't have been too upset if someone would have apologized for the wait or given us an explanation but the waitress didn't say anything. The food was not that great. I got country fried steak with mashed potatoes. The entire meal tasted like chemicals. My 2 year old that eats EVERYTHING even spit them out. We brought it up to our waitress. She said she noticed it to and jokingly suggested we bring our own gravy next time or scrape the gravy off...



My husband and I both worked at restaurants during college and noticed lots of flaws like waitresses counting tips in front of customers, waitresses eating in the dining room, etc. It seems like everyone was running around like chickens with their heads cut off. I witnessed 3 times that food was delivered to wrong tables and at least 3 times we heard dishes being dropped by the waiters. It was just a mess. I doubt we will ever go back.
