Travelers Inn

Very awful place. I was helping a family there, and in the process of leaving, I had accidentally lost my keys in the back of our SUV. There were groceries everywhere, and while searching for the keys (that may have fell in the bag) I thought to have a little snack as well. My mouth was full as what appeared to be the owner, came around to my SUV (kids present) and asked over ten times "What room are you in". With a mouth full, I politely shook my head no several times. He kept asking the question. After I swallowed, the owner proceeded to ask "What room are you in?" I stated that I do not have a room, I have a house, and I am helping out a family. By this time my friend's man came to the door. The owner asked him "Is she with you" and he said "No". The man immediately said, "If you don't leave I am going to call the police". I said "I was helping them, and I am looking for my keys. My mouth was full, and I have manners so I didn't want to speak to you with my mouth full." The man stated "That is your problem, and leave before I call the police". I told him that I was leaving, after I find my keys that are in my trunk. The man was extremely unprofessional, loud, obnoxious, and he did this in front of family. We were helping out people there. The hotel is not good for families on vacation, there is a strip club next door, in the weee hours of the night, they get rooms there and do drugs. Also they false advertise, the "HIGH SPEED INTERNET" does not work. There is no access to the server. Think twice, he may be a racist terrorist.

I been staying here for over three months and I can say that the rooms are clean and the service is excellent for the price.

Rooms are clean and area is very safe. Would DEFINITELY recommend for contractors or folks who need affordable extended stay living quarters. Family owned since previous named "Kings Inn" and had stayed for months here. This building is older but is well built and extremely quiet. In a number of months, had never heard anything but an occasional squalled tire and have been out at all hours of the night. Would suggest requesting the side away from the highway for the avoidance of noise and the fact that you cannot drive around the building. Personally, I walked for the months I was there and was able to reach anywhere I really wanted to go on a daily basis within about 15-25 minutes. New owners are wonderful, no nonsense people and if there is a disturbance, they will respond immediately and eject any troublemakers who might disrupt a good night's sleep. There is camera surveillance and free wireless so I would suggest that my sister or daughter would feel safe here for as long as she wanted to stay. Although I can speak only from my experience, during my time there it was pretty frequently that I heard other guests mention for the age of the building, it was solid and clean beyond their expectations.

If you're unsure use map software at street level and look around the area - always a must for me.
