Amenities
At SWCA you will see more than the typical children’s playground. We believe outdoor time should be used for exploration and learning, as well as having fun. Beginning with our two year old class through after-school and summer camp our children learn to plant, tend and harvest gardens of vegetables and flowers. Gardening provides many ways for kids to stay active and healthy. Between digging, raking and planting, your child will get plenty of exercise, vitamin D and fresh air. Our goal is ensure the children at SWCA stay happy and healthy while in our care. We provide a safe and secure environment with lots of hugs and love

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at SWCA! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. the facility is clean and the playgrounds are inviting and fun. I love the fact that SWCA is family owned and operated. You feel like family and you know your child is well taken care of. My child has learned so much more than she did at her last daycare. She is developing and blooming so wonderfully and it is all thanks to SWCA and their wonderful staff!

I love this place. The last day care I was at was so big and had so many teachers I had no idea who was teaching my kids from week to week. this place is working better for my three year old. The class size is smaller but still big enough to get a child adjusted to a real classroom setting. The class my kid is in is structured, the teacher is fun, silly, smart, and my children ask for her on the weekends. The director and owner were very nice to me when I toured, and took pity on a clueless dad, and I like that you can not access the classrooms without an employee identifying you and unlocking the door. B y the way my three year old is writing their name, which amazes both me and my wife. We are very happy there and look forward to putting our son in the afternoon program in a few weeks.

Great place! Great teachers! The prices are very reasonable and the children are well taken care of. This is not just a daycare, they really work with the kids to teach them new things. They make my child happy and that makes me happy.

PARENTS BEWARE!! This is only ...

PARENTS BEWARE!! This is only one opinion, but from what I have seen/experienced at this daycare --->PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE ENROLLING YOUR CHILD in Stratford West Children's Academy!! Everything you see upon first glance is all smoke and mirrors. They are a family owned center, true, but believe me when I say they do not hold THEIR children to the same standards as other children. Their so-called Director (never been a director before) is inept, and unprofessional and their staff is inexperienced. It is a bunch of their friends/family members who they hired so they could all get paid to watch their own children. A certificate or a 5 star curriculum does not make you capable, and capable they are NOT. If your child is not cookie-cutter perfect or if you bring any concerns to their attention they will make your life miserable. Also, while the FACILITY may be clean, my child is potty training and developed a sever rash while at that facility because they were not cleaning him properly after toilet use. The Director admitted to staff letting my 2YO "wipe himself" and that the staff must have "gotten sidetracked and FORGOTTEN to go back and clean behind him." On more than one occasion, when I came to pick my child up, he had a dirty diaper which I HAD TO CLEAN before we left. ---And this is only SOME of what I went through in just a 2 wk period. Trust me there is more, but we finally decided to withdraw him. Since then, my child has made several comments that he "did not like playing there" and he is back to his normal cheerful, playful and happy self at his original daycare.

Not only am I a teacher here, I also have two children that attend as well. As soon as I toured and interviewed I knew that this school was different- special. We are all like family and our main concern is the well being of the children. There are many daycares and preschools out there that are simply out to make a profit, and care about nothing else. The owner Brenda and the director Lauren are professional, caring, understanding, and calm. I enjoy coming to work, and every Friday when we talk about the days of the week and I tell my students that there is no school on Saturday or Sunday, it is not unusual to hear them say "Oh Man!!" I 1000+ recommend this center to parents who are looking for quality care and education. I am a parent as well, and I know how hard it is to leave your little ones. This is a loving family environment that I guarantee your child will grow to love!
