        Founded in 1986, the Human Service Alliance is a voluntary organization that provides support and medical assistance services to people with disabilities. The organization also offers respite care, counseling and training-related services. Located in Winston Salem, N.C., the Human Service Alliance is a part of the Center for Purposeful Living, which is a nonprofit organization. In addition, the alliance provides the Service Entrepreneurship Training (SET) program, which includes solution identification and assessment services. The Center for Purposeful Living operates an on-campus studio that offers editing, graphic design, Web site development, and audio and video production services. The corporation additionally organizes various multimedia shows.
