Provided by SuperpagesI was in town for my daughter's orientation at UNCW, and one of the orientation leaders recommended El Cerro Grande for some great Mexican food. Boy was he right! The food was fantastic! My waitress recommended some kind of pork fajita with pineapple in it. I don't remember what it was called, but I loved it. I would have stayed there all night drinking the margaritas if my husband didn't make me leave! Everything was top-notch. I know where I will be eating every time I come to visit my daughter!

Before we ever walked into the door, we noticed a few roaches smashed in the windows right next to the door. I walked in disgusted but put it aside because I heard this place had good food. I noticed that there were only a few customers dining as well. When we got our food I took a look under the shell of the taco only to find some really weird meat thing, and not to my surprise, the taco tasted like cat food slathered in cheese. We weren't offered refills and our waitress was somewhat snotty acting. I left a tip despite her attitude. The only thing good about this place was their salsa, but i can get the same salsa at food lion and eat it at my roach free home. Not worth the money or time.
