Overall
I agree with the below review....

I agree with the below review. It used to be a good fast clinic. Then the waiting times got to be 2 hrs. sometimes. During one of those looong waits to see Dr. Meyers, I saw him giving a tour to some interns for quite a while. Meyers was my Dr. and because he replaced my previous Dr. there. He's smart and knowledgeable but he's a Dr. that is from the school of "people don't need pain medicine, just exercise and diet will cure you" care.

Sure, if you don't have bone rubbing bone or are just somebody wanting to get high or down. I received a traumatic spinal compression injury at 20 and was to poor to get help. I lived with the pain for 30 years until it got to be to much. Dr. Meyers sent me to a wonderful therapist in their clinic there and she tried as hard as anybody could to help me for two years. At home, I shifted a tendon in my neck while massaging a terable tension and pain episode. WITH HER HELP IN MANIPULATION I BELIEVE, and then the moment of my own manipulation, 1/2 of the pain subsided. So now if only the other half will shift but it's been almost 8 years now I guess and the pain has come back but not like back then. I was almost suicidal then. Anyway, I had a inner shoulder issue come up and it was painful beyond belief. I went to tell Meyers after 3 months of it, and while waiting to see him, the pain level was an 11. When I saw him in his exam room the level dropped to a 2. But that is what this pain in my inner shoulder was doing, coming in waves. He never seem to acknowledge my pain statements. He had me move my arm and such and then after the regular physical he was about to leave the room and I said , aspirin isn't helping me remember, he said he couldn't help me. I said I want a second opinion from anybody in the building. He just walked out. I know what he was thinking, he WAS NOT going to prescribe pain relievers. I sat there in the exam room for a few minutes and then stepped out past the door to look for somebody. A nurse came by and I asked her where Meyers was. She said he had left the building. WHAT. Unbelievable, he just left me sitting on the gurney after I said I wanted a second opinion from another DR.. Long story short, I still gave that facility multiple times and a few personal reappearances in their lobby to get another one of their personnel to look at my shoulder. I was dieing from sporadic severe pain in my shoulder. It was getting worse by the week. I gave up on Meyers facility after 2 weeks and called an orthopedic place on Shipyard Blvd. That turned into another painful unbelievable experience by some unskilled, ignorant and unbelievably rude assistants. Two girls in the adjoined therapy business turned out to be god sent.

After 5 months I finally found out by a shoulder Dr. (his name sounds like Dr. Hawke )that I had "adhesive capsulitis". It's a strange phenomenon that strikes some people with no reason for it to have. It's one of the most painful experiences a human can experience. I had an operation to help free-up some more movement but even that dr.s asst didn't help me much on the pain I was going through. So between Meyers and Hawke as my dr.s I went through some major PAIN and I don't drink or do drugs so it was pure suffering! Meyers is so brilliant but yet he doesn't even recognize a frozen shoulder syndrome. He must've been sick during his training days on this subject. He failed me only had this to say to me through my wife's final visit or soon to be, "No hard feeling". No hard feelings, I'd like to break your knee caps and elbows so you could experience the pain I went through. But I feel in my heart and soul that you would get pain medicine for your pain, wouldn't you. You told my wife to bear the pain from your gynecological exam tool too. That's why she will never let you touch her again as long as she lives.
