Plato's Closet

Don't even waste your time. They gave me $10.50 for 4 pieces of clothing. I had a whole to tote of brand name clothing from Aeropostale, Hollister and Old Navy. You should see the crap they have hanging on their racks for sale. I could find better stuff for a cheaper price at Goodwill. Waste of my time!

I'm surprised this place is still in business. They have the worst clothing/shoe/handbag/accessory selection of any of the many Plato's I have shopped at. The store is very sloppy and the styles they have are very old and worn. They have the same few staff members that clearly only buy items from their friends or sellers they are scared of. Their inventory is worse than the Goodwill, with 4 of the most ignorant, fashion backward employees who make the clothing purchases from sellers. I am a buyer as well as a seller. So, besides their being awful clothing, I have taken almost brand new as well as new items into this store and only had a few things bought from it. There seems to be a scam going on here, but who cares as the place seems to be closing down due to horrible management. Don't waste your time going here.

I went to this place for the first time ever today. I am a trendy dresser, and brought in a ton of stuff that was pretty current and in great shape, some of the stuff I had still had tags on it. The cheapest items I had were from Old Navy, a lot of the other stuff was from Express, Lucky Brand,Diesel jeans and Adidas. I looked around the very hot (temperature wise) store while they went through my items. A lot of the stuff I saw was not "gently used", I saw things that had missing buttons, tons of lose threds, stains and pulls. I take good care of my personal belongings. They ended up buying five things from me. And actually left some items that had tags on them, things that I had just bought over the summer and I just never wore. The staff wasn't very friendly or at all professional. So if you plan on taking your stuff there to make some extra cash, don't be surprised when they buy next to nothing from you and you walk out with not enough cash to have driven there and waited around for thirty minutes. I think I will just take my stuff to goodwill. At least I know it will be put to good use.
