Everything about Sunset Harbor Resort was HORRIBLE. First, Debbie the "wedding coordinator" was not there during my wedding ceremony. (actually I saw her once near the bar at the reception.) She was on a paddleboat with another wedding that already had a coordinator during my wedding! She was gone the entire ceremony and most of the wedding for sure. We looked for her everywhere. Since my DJ couldn't see any of the wedding party until they were mostly down the stairs all the music was very late. She should have been there too cue him. She STOLE two of my centerpieces also. She told us atleast 5 or 6 times that they did not have any decorations. Come to find out, 2 days before the wedding, and after stuff was already rented, that they had a unity candle, isle markers, easles for pictures, columns and other things.

The place was DIRTY. The windows had bugs on them, the overhangs on the inside were dusty and had bugs on them, the deck was not swept the bathrooms were disgusting. These are all things that she HAD PROMISED would be cleaned before the wedding. The were not. They had tried to clean the windows but they still were covered in little black dots (bug crap)

My mother and my photographer were serving water and tea during dinner. I told my mom to stop and let people get there own and that she needed to enjoy herself. My mom and photographer told us when and how to cut the cake, (where was the coordinator? at the bar) The air conditioner was definately no lower than 78. It was hot as heck. The air conditioner had been addressed before because it was always hot when we were there. They assured us it worked fine and it would not be hot at the wedding. We did not get our champagne until after the wedding was over, and that is because we asked for it (and she gave us a cheaper kind than we ordered.) We had forgotton to do a toast but she shouldve told us when to do it! The batches of margarita machines that we ordered for 3 dollars a glass ($180) were nothing more than liquid margarita mix and ice.

One of my elderly neighbors came and left because there was no one to direct them to the handicap accessible entrance. They could not walk down the stairs. The food was not great, only edible. They only had 2 people servicing the place with 180 guest. These two people happened to be a girlfriend and boyfriend and went into a dark room, where my photographer was set up, to makeout. They broke the cd of my slideshow, so we didn't get to have one.



other things: there were trash bags in front of the venue that got moved once they saw my aunt take a picture of them. The tables didn't have skirting on them, just the table cloth but the sheet that had everything included in the wedding package had tablecloths and skirting written on it. There is more but I just cant think of it right now.
