One of their psychiatrists, who for respect I will not name, wrote on my medical record that I have anxiety due to a drug abuse. This is an absolute lie. She put this information on my medical record which she then released to my job. I am now looking at probably being fired for this person's lie. When I called to have it recanted I spoke with one of the owners who was by far the worst business owner I've ever spoken with. I told her my situation to which she stated "[Psychiatrist] has been with us for 20 years. If she says it was due to drugs than its the truth." I said but it's not the truth! She stated "If [Psychiatrist] says it then it's the truth." I stated that they had lost our business and she rebuttal with "That's fine. I'm not concerned. Good day." Now no one will return my call just to have this drug abuse LIE expunged from my medical record. The disrespect and outright unhonesty of this clinic is unbelievable.

I was very pleased with the services that I received at Wichita Psychiatric Consultants. My Doctor was very friendly and helpful. The staff seems very upbeat and was helpful as well. I would recommend Wichita Psychiatric to anyone who needs these kinds of services.

I WOULD RATE DR MURPHY'S OFFICE VERY HIGHLY. MY MOTHER RECENTLY STARTED SEEING ONE OF DR MURPHY'S NURSE PRACTITIONERS FOLLOWING THE DEATH OF MY FATHER. IT TOOK MUCH BEGGING ON MY PART FOR HER TO SEE SOMEONE FOR HER DEPRESSION. THE NURSE WAS VERY KIND AND TOOK A LOT OF TIME TO EXPLAIN TO MY MOM HOW THE MEDICINE COULD HELP. SHE ACTUALLY AGREED TO TAKING SOMETHING TO HELP HER DEPRESSION AND I'VE SEEN A BIG IMPROVEMENT. SHE'S NOT ISOLATING HERSELF AS MUCH AND SEEMS HAPPIER. MY MOTHER HAS NEVER BEEN A BIG BELIEVER IN TAKING PILLS. SO FOR HER TO AGREE TO ALLOW SOMEONE TO HELP HER SAYS A LOT FOR DR MURPHY'S OFFICE.

There are very long wait time to see doctors, even if you cancel your appointment the day before, they will still charge you. There is no time frame for charges, it is at their discretion of you called in an appropriate time. Also, if you call in with problem, you must talk to the nurse and only the nurse only talk to psychiatrist if you have an appointment. and the nurse is a real .....
