My Daughter has attended CCCW for over a 1yr now. I have only good things to say! Very caring teachers, that are committed to the children. She was in attendance the day there was a flood. The staff installed new carpet.(Never saw a cat or worms?) My daughter does come home with dirty clothes and I love it! It means she had a wonderful day playing..... I wouldnt send her to school in her sunday best to play with paints, or knowing they will be outside. Kids are suppose to get dirty. My daughter adores her teachers. We think of CCCW as part of our family!!!

Like an extension of our family

My 3 year old son has been attending CCCW for over a year now and I can honestly say I am very pleased with the care and faith based education he is receiving. The teachers and staff could not be sweeter. I am confident that when my boy is in their care he is loved and has all of his needs met. They treat him like he is a part of their family and I feel as if they are a part of ours.

The current Center Director plays a very hands on role and all of the children adore her. She and the rest of the staff are patient and kind, they always provide excellent care to all of the children in the center. At CCCW you get the personal attention of a home provider but all of the perks of the large centers without feeling like just a number.

I toured a lot of centers and work as an educator so I had high expectations. I had a great feeling about CCCW from the start and the excitment and smile on my sons face everyday when he finds out he is going to "his school" proves that I was right.

Continuation… I observed 1” hard worms crawling on the large infant room floor recently. I picked up 6 worms and showed staff. Also observed was a large, night time bug that crawled out in front of me back in the fall (staff saw it too). Last fall, after the storm, the center closed due to the carpet and padding in the large infant room was soaked along with a cat had prior urinated on the carpet and walls-the smell was awful. The center opened for the infants that Friday. At pick-up, the smell was absolutely horrific, parents complained. The carpet was replaced. 8) I had issues with the prior director for yelling at my baby and putting him in timeout in the crib. My older son heard the yelling in the other room. We were told that it never happened and that my oldest was not telling the truth. A staff member after the fact did tell me it was true. The center is not equipped for older children. I was told my oldest child was untrustworthy and unchristianlike because he told a fib (he wanted to go outside with his baby brother to take a walk and I told him it was ok via text); they wrote him up along with other notes for behavior – this was intention so we would take him out (and we did). The director/owner told my child “I am very, very sad you came to my daycare today” in a meeting without me. I tried unsuccessfully to talk with her that day after 5 phones calls to the center and waiting 30 minutes for her that afternoon-no call, no acknowledgement. My husband called from another line that evening and was told that the statement was not true. We just wanted to clear up a miscommunication, if it was that. Childcare guidelines were put in place by licensing; I did not make up those rules. I know no daycare can do exactly what I would do, but I never expected my baby to be served expired & spoiled milk, come home dirty, his clothes stained, and many other problems. Had I not personally observed these issues, I would’ve not had a reason to say anything.

I have had my infant daughter at this daycare since May 2012 (she was 3 months old) and have been very pleased with the care she has received. My experiences with the Director, Millie, have been professional, though minimal, since I haven't really had any problems. I really like that they provide worksheets that account for diaper changes, baby's mood, and how many bottles/containers of food she has ate through the day. My daughter is always clean when I pick her up, has never had a diaper rash or even light skin irritation after spending the day there, and she is always happy when I pick her up and never fussy when I drop her off. I feel very confident that my daughter is in a very safe and loving environment while at WCCC. I am thinking of enrolling my 3 year old son in the preschool there.

I just recently pulled both of...

I just recently pulled both of my children out of this "christian" daycare. When you pay that type of money for a supposedly religious base daycare you would expect that the director Millie would not favor children that she would treat all the children equally, you would think that the board members would take action but they dont. I was told by a board member that she feels she does favor certain children. That is one issue another is that Mille does not comunhicate with parents, same board member told me when I made a formal complaint to her that this wasnt the first time that Millie has had a problem with communication. I gave Millie two months after complaining to her directly to fix the issue. Then I asked for a communication book, I then found a documentation that was a lie in the book, tried to say my son took a purple marker and drew on his pants, I sent him there with those pants with marker on them, it was a stain i tried to get out.Well when I started to complain to the board members and ask for a meeting the morning staff was leaving a full bowel movemets in my sons pants when he would have an accident instead of dispossing the bowel movement into the toliet and putting into the bag. So I asked for a meeting and the board members cancelled it without telling me I showed up and no one was there, they said they assumed I was not coming because I kept my children home that day so I could have the meeting with no interuptions. After that the said the did not see the point in having a meeting. Thats when i realized that this daycare was only interested in getting the money they did not care about the well being of my children, I am shocked that this is what I found at a CHRISTIAN day care center, I have better service that has cost less money in private care!!!!! My apologies to the afternoon staff because they were WONDERFUL they did everything that the morning staff and MIllie (director) failed to do....communicate, respected my children, watched my children, and were fair to each child they are the only reason why I am even giving this center 1 star. This facilty has lied to me, were non compliant, did not follow things like my sons reward system for potty training, did not communicate with me or each other, and disrepectful. It is hard enough to put trust into someone to take of your children when you go back to work, this is not worth your heartache to find out that your children were not in trusting hands for 40 hours a week.
