It was OK. The only thing was they seem to rush you on to the next room of play to quickly. It seems to me that they charge you entirely to much if they're going to rush you like that. They scheduled the parties to close together if you ask me. But my granddaughter and all of her friends did have a really good time.

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer s...

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I have been taking my daughter there for 3 years now. I take her every year on her birthday. I ALWAYS reserve a spot for open bounce and ALWAYS verify the reservation so I know everything is set. Every time I've taken my daugther, my reservation mysteriously disappears. I recently booked my daughters birthday party, while I was there I booked an open bounce for 2 children 4 weeks in advance. The girl who booked the party wrote the open bounce reservation in the book right in front of me. I emailed them about a week later to change the amount of children to 4, they responded saying everything was fine. I noticed on facebook they were giving out the open bounce dates for the week I was going, I put on their facebook that I wanted to verify (AGAIN), they responded saying there was no open bounce. NOW, I requested off of work along with 1 of the other childrens mothers, so now I have 4 disappointed children and 1 aggravated adult b/c what was supposed to be completely set up, is now an issue. I called and spoke to someone who said there was no open bounce, she passed the phone to someone else. I asked that person to see who would schedule an open bounce when they knew they wouldn't be having an open bounce. That person (who's voice sounded EXACTLY like the girl who booked my party-I know b/c I've dealt with her during check-in's and she's VERY unfriendly), said that the "manager" booked my party. So I told her I wanted the manager to give me a call. So within a couple of hours the owner contacted me, after going back and forth I was told that the girl I spoke to claimed I cursed at her, hung up on her, and that I wanted to cancel my party. I did NOT curse b/c I had my child in the same room as me, I never told her I wanted to cancel my party, and I did not hang up on her. So bottom line the girl lied. She told me that the girl had been working for her for 5 yrs and that she has never had a complaint about her. So THEN, I found out that the girl I spoke to orginally was the girl who booked my party, so all in all, she flat out lied to me about who booked my party. The owner then told me that there was nothing she could do about open bounce and that if I wanted to cancel my daughters party she would refund my credit card. And then she said "honestly I would rather give you a refund instead of worrying about an issue in the future". ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, way to run a business lady!

I normally dont write reveiws ...

I normally dont write reveiws but since the ones about bounce Party and play were written a while ago I thought I should provide and update. I had my son's bday party there this past weekend, i booked his party without even seeing the place other then what was on the website. I left a voicemail the first time i called to get information and I did receive a call back the very same day. The girl on the phone was very nice and answered all of my questions. She even mailed me the inviations. I had to call back with some other questions that I had and the girl I spoke to that time was also very nice and informative. The day of the party I will admit was a little overwhelming when you first walk in as the two party rooms are in the front as well and guest were sitting in the hallway, but with every thing going on i was waited on right away and while the one lady was getting me a cart to bring my items in another girl saw me waiting and asked if i have been helped. Once we went into the 1st bounce room the only thing I can compain about it it would be nice if the slides were waxed again as they we would get stuck or not slide. we moved to the next party room and things went fine there as well. The only thing here was there was one staff member Teenager that did have his pants a little low and honesty I really didnt care to see his boxers nor thought it was appropriate for the kids to see this as well but I dont think the kids paid any attention to it or saw it b/c they were having so much fun playing and boucning. The water coolers that were mentioned in other post they are still there but they have a thick piece of paper with RED warnings on them saying Caution HOT do not use and they are taped over. So i feel they did a good job of taking care of this. The cups are on top of the cooler so the only way for a child to get a drink is to have someone help them. which means someone old enough to be able to read the warning. I had 19 children attend my sons party and they only took up two of the three tables in the party room which left pleanty of room for all of the parents. some of my family did choose to sit in the hall way which they had benches to sit on so they were fine. The party helper had every thing already set up when the kids came into the party room too. I did have to go out to the front desk to ask for her to come back when it was time for cake but she was there within seconds. Having more bathrooms would be nice as the ladies room only had two Toilets and for parties that have a min requirement of 25 kids seems like there should be more toilets. Having some anit bacterial available for all of the kids to use before eating would be nice too since the bathroom only has one sink this would be a nice offering since washing the hands would take forever and i am sure the bounce stuff is not cleaned in between parties as while we were leaving bounce room # 1 the next party was going in and the party that was in bounce room # 2 was leaving as we were coming in. All in all my son said it was the best birthday party ever and I would have my party here again.

You just have to have your party here! Forget the other reviews and go and see for yourself. My children love bounce, party and play. I have 5 siblings, and we all have children 10 and under and all of their parties either have been or will be there. We are treated like family from the minute we walk in the door. I'm a teacher, and for Christmas last year, I gave each of my students an Open Bounce Gift Card. Not one complaint, only several cheers. Surely, there is someone trying to ruin the reputation of this business, but one only has to spend one open play session, or party, there to know what a wonderful childrens facility this truly is! We will be there tomorrow for open play, just give a shout for the PBnJ family! Happy bouncing............

The owner of this place in NOT...

The owner of this place in NOT proffessional at all, she is very NASTY and RUDE!! I will never go to an open play or have a party there again. I had my daughter's party there 2 years ago and after my party the owner called and accused one of my party guests of taking a pair of shoes from another party. She didn't just call me one time but six, I knew none of my guest would take another persons' shoes but she didn't take my word for it and continued to call me. A friend of mine had asked for info. on this place for their child's party and I warned them not to have it there but they did, I attended the party and yet again the owner had no class and was very rude. Everything is rushed and there isn't even enough time given for the children to open their gifts. There are weight limits on all the moon bounces, two adults that in total weigh 175 (what the owner told my husband when she made him get out of the boxing ring) which is not realistic. An employee of Bounce Party N Play saw the look on my face after the owner made my husband get out and said to me "She is such a B****, I have only worked here for two months and already put in my two weeks" I hope this review is helpful and a child's party should be special and not rushed. DO NOT have a party at Bounce Party N play

This is the best Bounce place ...

This is the best Bounce place around. My kids love going here every week. I've had all 3 of my children's birthday parties at Bounce Party N Play for the past 2 years, and we have just had the first one this year. The owner is very friendly, helpful and hands on. After reading the previous review, I felt that I just had to write this. There is always going to be someone in every crowd, who tries to ruin things for others. The only way to find out what a fantastic kids play place this is, is to bring your kids and let them test drive it for themselves. KUDOS to Bounce Party N Play, you are the best!!!

Serious Safety Concern With Water Dispensers!!!

I would give this place zero stars if I could. We have been to the White Marsh location at least 5 other times and all went well; until today. They have water dispensers in the two bounce rooms at this location which is a wonderful idea since the children are thirsty. However, the serious safety issue that I discovered is that they have a hot water dispenser on them along with the cold water!. My three old girl and many of her friends do not know how to read or understand that you only use the cold dispenser. Before anyone could stop them, one of them pushed the hot water as my daughter was filling her cup with cold and it burned her hand.

As I went to the front desk to get some ice, I asked the employee who was supervising our party about why such hot water was accessible to small children and she could not tell me. I made sure my daughter was settled down and that her burn was not too serious before I approached the front desk again. The owner, Jennifer, was very rude and insisted that signs were on the fountains. I told her that it didn't matter if signs were on there because not all children can read! I went back to view the fountains and there were no signs. My friend who is also a lawyer was with me. She encouraged me to take pictures which I did. As I was taking a picture the employee who was originally with our party asked me if I was going to complain about my child getting burned and then laughed about it! I told her that if it was so funny she should stick her hand under there. She declined saying it was hot and that would be stupid.

After reporting her to the owner, I could clearly see why she was allowed to behave in such a way because the owner told me that she was only 17 and didn't know any better. What a ridiculous statement to come from this "professional" who owns two child-oriented play houses!! She then went on to tell me that this 17 year old has worked for her for 4 years and never had an issue. That girl must've started working illegally then, which wouldn't surprise me after seeing how this lady conducts her business. If this owner has children of her own, she must be a terrible mother.

When all was said and done, I never received an apology nor did anyone ever inquire about whether or not my child was ok. In fact, the young girls that worked there kept coming by and snickering at our party. I was livid and so were several other guests that had been treated badly before and after this incident.

The owner also told me that the other location also had hot water dispensers accessible to children, but a quick phone call and visit to that location confirmed that they had only regular water fountains. The owner also never could come up with the "missing" signs from the water fountain or show me any copies of them even though she told me they get torn down often and they replace them right away.

I have filed a complaint with the BBB, Department of Labor, and any other website I have found regarding this incident. I would feel terrible if another child was injured like my 3 year old. This company is certainly fortunate that my child's injury was not serious and should look forward to hearing from my attorney.

A Bouncing Disaster

Please don't subject yourself to Bounce Party N Play if your in the market for good family fun; as the rude abrasive unprofessional untruthful owner will make you want to curse. It's a bad economy spend your money where you will be treated with decency and respect

Not worth your time

Bounce Party N Play is poorly managed. The space is not well organized - a lot of the time you feel crammed in with people from other parties. Time management is a key factor in a business like this, and it is not done well. The atmosphere is extremely hectic, and the employees, as well as the owners are less than mediocre. The owner was very rude on the phone when I talked to her, and that alone would be enough for me to never want to go to this place again. The party rooms are extremely small, not enough sitting space for everyone, and they rush you out of there as soon as you get comfortable. If you want to spend your money on your child's birthday and have everyone leave happy, Bounce Party N Play is not the place to go.
