MOTOR CITY PARTY BUS

Worst company ever to deal with. Confirmed with the company 3 times regarding date, time and location for pick up. The day before the owner, Tim, called asking if we were going to stay put for the evening because he had another party that needed transportation. My response was no, we would like access to the bus . The night of the event, a surprise 60th birthday party, The bus never showed to pick us up! Finally after calling several times we were told the driver had the wrong night and he could be there to get us in an hour! Ha. What A joke. We said forget it. Too late. Surprise ruined and it was to late to make our reservation in Detroit! I talked to Laura that night. She ASSURED me we would not be billed! Well I was charged the full amount of $695. I called and was assured it would be credited the next morning. It was not and when I called there was no answer. Beware!!!!

I had Motor City Party Bus take my friends and I to prom.... not a good experience. First, the bus driver was 25 minutes late. I had to actually punch in the address on her Garmin navigation system because she did not know how to use it. The ride to prom was nice, but when exiting prom I called the driver (expecting her to be in the auxiliary parking lot) only to find out that she was "down the street" and had to wait 30 minutes outside because we could not go back into prom. Upon getting picked up we wanted to go back to my friends house (assuming that we had to bus for several more hours), however when arriving the bus driver wanted a PARENT to sign a form saying we could go inside then come back, which would ultimately make her responsible for all 18 kids on the bus for the night??? This made absolutely no sense due to the fact that we were 18 years old... legal adults in the United States of America. Throughout the whole experience I did call the actual company, only to be greeted by a guy named TIm, who was quite rude with me several times and very rude to the parent who they wanted to sign a responsibility form. I know a LOT of kids who rented party bus's on prom and NOT a single one had this many rules. Be advised that if you do use this company, your prom night will not be any fun at all. This company made the direct implication several times that my friends and I wanted to party and drink, and I do NOT think ANY company should even suggest that my friends and I were planning on doing this. Terribly unprofessional company, and I have already advised my friends in the class of 2015 to STAY AWAY from this company!

Motor City Party Bus was the limo company we choose to do our wedding and the service was fantastic. While Tim, the owner, may be a little hard to get in touch with at times, he was very accommodating for some of the special circumstances for my wedding.



On my wedding day, October 26, 2013, Dan, our limo driver, was 25 minutes early. He called me to let me know that he was there and to make sure that I had his phone number for the day. Our experience was amazing. From the red carpet rolled out to Dan ensuring that my dress did not get dirty getting in and out of the limo. Thank you for making our wedding so wonderful!

Bachelor Party. First of all, the driver was thirty minutes late to pick us up. That was fine cause she said she would give use extra time. We arrived at our first stop, she said she was going to her friends house a few blocks away, which is fine. But when we called her to pick us up, it took her thirty minutes to get there. I told her we were waiting for thirty minutes and she said "no you weren't". On our way to our next stop, I almost fell out of the bus because she left the door to the bus open (on the freeway too). The door is in the middle of the bus so it was very dangerous (I believe she was using drugs and was pretty messed up). Again when we called her to pick us up at our next stop, she never answered. I called her three times and so did a few other people. She finally showed up after we were standing outside for 45 minutes. She was upset with us on the way back and would not offer our request to turn the air conditioning on. Detroit to White Lake is about a 50 minute drive and it was really hot in the bus. Overall, this was the worst experience I have ever had. The following business day I went up to Motor City Party Bus to discuss the issues and the doors were locked. I called, left a message, and no one ever called me back. Motor City Party Bus should not be in business.

I booked this company for a bachelorette party, we really like the driver except sometimes he wouldn't answer his phone when we needed to be picked up from one place and taken to another. I also booked this with the owner of the company and he told me the cost would be $595 for 6 hours plus gratuity so I was prepared to pay that much for the whole night but when the bus driver got to my house, he had an invoice that was never sent to me with a driver fee of $120 and a gas fee of $75 both fees were not discussed when I booked this company or else I would've gone with a less expensive place. When I called the owner to discuss this, he was very rude and unhelpful and made it seem like it was all my fault for not knowing about these fees that were never mentioned to me. I won't ever use this company again, bad costumer service.
