This place was so amazing for so many years and then tragically lost to fire. Now that it's rebuilt I understand it's larger and filled with the same excellent food at very excellent prices. The employees were an incredible surprise for the location and now I understand that most of them have returned. I'm sure that is because it is owned by a family that knows how to please the customer (food, drink, service, music, prices, serving size, friendliness, atmosphere, etc...) and they've been doing it before the Hoover Dam was built. IMHO, this is a must experience because it is so perfect and a forgotten way of doing business. Five Plus Stars for extra intelligence.

my wife and I went to find what we thought would be the remains of the gas station, bar and resturant my grand father had owned back in the late 1950s. To our great surprise the boulder inn is still in operation and doing better then my grandfather would have ever dreamed of. When we walked in the staff was very freindly and answered A LOT of questions and the I spoke with Rose the current owner of the Inn, she and I talked for about an hour and she was great. She told me all of the history that she new and how she had come to own it,we ate a great breakfast there and left with a whole new outlook on the western US. We are from Michigan and will probly never be back there but the boulder inn was a highlight of a cross countery trip Highly recomended!!!

A local favorite of mine

A traditional roadside cafe with plenty of color. Great American food. Great prices. Great people -- customers and staff. Not to be missed.
